Issues I would mention with these Anglo-American airport braces from MK Tools are the protruding clips, not particularly discrete through customs and so likely to draw attention at airport security, nor indeed comfy against other clothing or objects in contact, the willingness of those clips to be caught and opened against furniture such as hard backed chairs when sitting down or arising and a query as to whether the pretty big metal pins are indeed scanner-invisible. Those pins may be aluminium rather than steel, if so they may be less visible to airport scanners - it's unclear that when I sounded an alert going through the scanner whether it was the braces.On the positive side, the chosen colour is pleasant, the clips seem durable and the stitching of the clips is welded in place, so preventing the clips unstitching.All in all these braces are probably more trouble than they are worth and I an not likely to keep them. Because I bought them about 3 months before my trip in getting everything ready, and put them away ready for flying away, the seller has not been minded to do more on my return than tell his supplier, the manufacturer of these problems. I think some others have already also reported similar issues.

3 stars are based on the fact that only M.K.TOOLS LTD seem to be selling them, otherwise I would have rated them higher.I purchased these for work because exposed metal is not allowed on the assembly floor. They did the job nicely but be aware that the hinge pins are aluminium. After 10 months one of the hinge pins broke so I asked the seller ( M.K.TOOLS LTD ) about the warranty but said that I would be happy with a replacement pin. They simply replied"....unfortunately they are not under warranty and replacement pins are not available."I then asked what the warranty was as I was concidering purchasing them again. They replied"due to the price and nature of the product being an item of clothing we feel this is reasonably within fair wear and tear of the product at £11.99 including postage. However if you feel this is not reasonable. please see the comment below from Trading standards. -You can ask a customer to prove an item was faulty when they bought it if they ask for a repair or replacement after 6 months.-"It is my belief that the warranty is quite likely a year at least but M.K.TOOLS LTD does not intend to honour the warranty. Otherwise why would they be so defensive when asked a reasonable question?In short: Reasonably good product but dodgy seller

These are super braces - the security officers at Birmingham Airport were quite impressed that I didn't need to take them off!! Mark efficiently dealt with me changing my mind on the colour and I have now purchased a second pair. Far better than the UK offerings anf the clips hold firmly on all but the very thinnest materials. Good job, good value, good service - thanks, Mark

As stated before,the buckles are quite large but seem to grip well,the only slight drawback is that the adjustors tend to loosen off at present, as the material is new and smooth,but on the otherhand they are easy to adjust. Otherwise comfortable and good for those with nickle intolerence .

Great for airport security that's the reason I purchased them. I find the clips are very bulky for every day use, they show through lightweight jackets but I have plenty of other pairs.

These would have been so much better with elastic in them.They do what they should do however there is not much give in them.I'd rather pay more and get better quality one.

Excellent bit of kit. i use them for my Held motorcycle trousers and they work brilliantly. Very comfortable and large plastic grips on the fasteners so they don't damage the clothing.I purchased the ones with motorcycles on and they look superb.
