Surprisingly effective
I was expecting something a bit more substantial, and had my doubts when they arrived.Clamped off brake lines just fine - although I used a pair of pliers to get a bit of leverage on the wing nuts.Had intended to replace the wing nuts with hex nuts so that I could use a spanner, but the thread isn't standard metric sizing

Easy to use. Saves hours of brake bleeding.
I should have bought some hose clamps years ago. Quite cheap and does the job. Saved hours of brake bleeding on my motorcycle. A little difficult to fit on the rear hoses, but there wasn't much room anyway!

Good for preventing loss of fluid
I used these to help change two automatic transmission cooler pipes, as the CVT transmission did not come with a dip stick ! These worked excellently and prevented fluid loss.
