A Whirlwind of Color (The Hunted Series Book 7)

I knew that this could not end like I wanted it to in this the a "Whirlwind of Color", Book Number 7 of the Hunted Series. Penny and James Hunter's series. I don't know what is going to happen, but Penny and James have to have a happily ever after, after all that they have been through. James is trying to get Penny to remember. Dr. Snape had been poisoning her and even poisoned James because he took some of her pills and now, everyone is trying to get Penny to remember the life that they use to have. She has amnesia and she has forgotten her daughter Scarlett and her little boy Liam, and she is the one that wanted this little boy so much, and now cannot remember even having him. Doctor Snape, which Scar called Dr. Snake is out there lurking trying to get her. Everyone that is supposed to be looking after her thinks the doctor has skipped town because he can no longer practice medicine in New York or for that matter in United States. But we know because there is another book that it is not over until its over. I really don't know how this story is going to end, but i was upset at both James and Penny even though I knew it was neither of their faults about what happened, but I just loved their love story so much. You got have a little trouble to appreciate all that bad, I guess. This is a good series and definitely was a good book this book number 7 of the Hunted series. I can't wait to read the final book.

Well, I must concur wholeheartedly with the rest of the reviews. I so wanted to beat up Penny for how foolish she was in this installment of the series. However it was beautifully written . I was not only able to roll My eyes and laugh , but sympathize with the situation but especially with James` perspective. As I have previously stated I have become attached with these characters , I `ve grown with them and I cant imagine that this up- coming book will be its last !! Am heart brokenly smitten over those characters and will be devastated to lose them , Back to wondering around for another form of entertainment. ( Roll Eyes) I must implore, Ms. Smoak to reconsider her decision in this being the end of James and Penny`s story. In My opinion those two Are her best work ! In continuing with their story will ensure more success and her books to be a household name like the Danielle Steel novels My mom used to read. I believe in Your work its beautiful, soulful, and so relatable. You can read about so much things with James and Penny . I can Not Wait to see what happens next to them, Baby Liam , Scarlett and the rest of the other characters .

Kept me guessing until the very last page. I cannot get enough of this story of Penny and James. This was such a quick read and I must immediately tear into the next book!

This book was so amazing i couldn't put it down. I read it in 6 hrs. I've reread 2x since. Lol This book broke my heart and made me mad..made me cry...and laugh all in one. Love love love it. The whole series is fascinating. Pennie and James make an amazing team and the heat between the two is undeniable. Iv read other professor/student books but this one is by far the most detailed... intreging..and loveable of all. I instantly fell in love with all the characters. From undeniable attraction to scandal to mind blowing love...it has it all!!!!! A must read for anyone who loves a good love story with ALL the ups and downs. Ivy smoak has a way of putting u on the edge of your seat and keeping u there. 😍😊 Keep up the good work ivy.....ill be waiting for more. 😄 P.s. dont forget a box of tissues...u'll need them. 😉

This is book 7 of the series I cannot get enough of. Honestly if it went on to book 100 I would probably continue reading. Ivy is a wonderful writer and pulls you into every story like you are sitting across the room watching the story unfold right in front of you. Each book has its own unique set of woes, but unlucky number 7 seems to be the worst. My heart breaks for each character is all I can say without littering the review with spoilers. I am off to book 8 hopefully it won’t end in tragedy as well. While this book has the least amount of spice and is the SLOWEST burn ever, the spice was still nice.

Gladly I decided to review Ivy’s books after reading them the second time. I was so anxious the first that I couldn’t leave a review. But I still need the details of this story so much that I read them over. The first time the memories felt like page-fillers and was decided that this would be my only 4-rated book for this author. I didn’t need so many flashbacks on their stories. This second time I felt those were the highlights and I could totally feel different about those moments, thus this author has completely captivated me through her all 5 stars books. This second series let’s you see the story through James’ eyes and feel connected to his light and darkness on a totally new level. I am writing this review at 4:30 am and totally convinced I will continue immediately with This is love at least until the hanger is resolved (although I already read it once before and know how it goes around).

This series is great and I loved the first 5 books. It’s real, dramatic, and heartfelt. What I didn’t love was the 30+ pages of copy and pasted excerpts from the previous 5 books. I know that it helped the plot, but I would have loved a shorter retelling or rewording. As someone who read the entire series in a week, the retelling of situations was boring.

Ivy Smoak is one of my all time favorite authors!! She will always make you laugh, cry, and feel every single emotion that is written on the page. She makes it feel like you know these people, like they are real, like you could be friends with them and you could totally put yourself and their shoes. Although in this story I don't think anyone can connect with having amnesia and you wouldn't know how you would react until you had it. But it was very sad and gut-wrenching to not see Penny loving James the way she always has and not remembering her family or anything. So I was a little mad at the way she acted childishly, but you would never know how you would react until you were in that situation as well. She definitely brings the tears in this one. And as always I'm rooting for Penny and James because their love story is something quite epic. Keep writing Ivy Smoak and we'll keep reading. Although this series ends with a cliffhanger, not all of her books do and I can't wait to find out what happens through James's eyes. I'm so glad we got a glimpse into the rest of everyone else in their lives as well.

Fantastic book, it really sucks you in and won't let you free as you struggle to breathe while wondering what happens to our dear penny

I have been waiting for this for a long time. Ivy did not disappoint! I couldn't put it down and read the entire book in just a few short hours. It is an emotional read, one that will have you smiling at times, angry and sad at others. I could feel the emotions so deeply. I highly recommend this book and every other book that is part of Penny and James story. You won't be disappointed and will find yourself reaching out for all of this incredible authors books!

By the stars, this book hit the emotions deep. It was brilliant, although a roller-coaster of a read. I love James. I absolutely love him. I feel so sorry for him and I applaud him for how he’s coping with everything. I love how he’s trying to recreate things that have happened. His just amazing. Perfect. Everyone needs a James. Penny as well. She’s a brilliant character, but without her memories she’s become so stubborn. I couldn’t even begin to imagine what that would be like, but James is absolutely perfect. She’s being stubborn about getting to know him again when her heart knows there’s a feeling there. I feel sorry for Scarlet, because she doesn’t understand why her mum’s different. At least Liam is alright though. Their relationship has been absolutely fantastic to read, and then this happens. I have every faith that things will work out in the end, but it’s gut wrenching reading it. This book has seriously hit the feels deep. The ending as well. Jesus christ Ian, you should have known better! And Penny, you shouldn’t have pushed him to go. I would completely recommend this book. I would recommend reading The Hunted Series first otherwise I don’t think this book would hit those feels like they have mine. Fantastic storyline I just love these characters. This book wasn’t what I had imagined it would be. But it had me gripped to the end and now I’m desperate to start the next book. I started this book at 9.30pm on the 5th Feb, and read until 2am. I read more on the morning of the 6th - meaning I didn’t get out of bed until 12noon. I have now finished the book at half past midnight. It’s a gripping storyline and a must read. Highly recommended. I’m loving these books by Ivy Smoak so much that I’m going to have to re-read them all again.

Loved this series. Keeps you captivated and rooting for James and Penny. Can not wait to read the last in this series.
