Collects DUNGEONS & DRAGONS 0-5! Beginning a new era in Dungeons & Dragons history! The genre-defining roleplaying game gets its first ongoing series in years! Join writer John Rogers (Blue Beetle) and artist Andrea Di Vito (Annihilation) as they bring us a tale of high adventure and deep secrets. Adric Fell leads a band of heroes in a world where civilization has been reduced to a few scattered points of light amid a rising tide of shadows. Review: Rogers rolled a natural 20 with this one - John Rogers and Andrea Di Vito bring to life an adventure that showcases the best aspects of a DnD adventure. Each step of the story is a blend of character, humor, and pell-mell encounters with a whose-who of fantasy aggressors. I find myself mentally tallying skill checks, encounter powers, critical hits, and what my DM calls "critical successes" or 1s. I find the story inspiring, and it makes me yearn to start a game of my own, and the hardback offers some interesting fodder to build encounters for my own epic story. Review: Love it! - First of all, I just want to say that I love how these comics are designed to look like game manuals, although you might find yourself accidentally losing your copies from mis-shelving! The story is light, fun, and very reminiscient of actually playing D&D. My only regret is that there is not more. The art quality does become wildly inconsistent in a few pages in the series, which is unfortunate, but I don't think it is worth turning aside for just that. The story is solid and amusing.

Around the Table
Great Book. It jumps right into the action and doesn't let up. It reads like a D&D session. Very fun!

No joke, this is really good!
I've been waiting for a comic to capture the way I wish my Dungeons and Dragons campaigns would go. The voice captured within this comic is fun, witty and appropriate. The art is excellent and detailed. Some of the art is so detailed that some of the sequential panels, especially with Bree the rogue and her "D&D Like" moves, tell a story themselves. I highly recommend this book to any lover of fantasy, any one who played AD&D, lovers of D&D, or wished they could find people to play D&D.

This reads like a game session
In the best way. The jokes and chatter back and forth are great and reminiscent of many tabletop games from years past. Highly recommended.

Great read for new readers.
This is really my first graphic novel that isn't the traditional super hero related. The story starts very quickly and then slowly adds character development. I play D and D and story reminds me of sitting around a table and playing with a group. Great story.

Alright
There was an interesting storyline and some decent characters. Maybe I missed something but to me it seemed as though the story made some weird jumps that didn't quite fit together.

A brilliant adventure in the world of Dungeons and Dragons.
This is truly an excellent comic collection. From the very first panel the laughs come thick and fast, and never let up. Both the dialogue and the art are exceptional, and it is all wrapped around a compelling story that will keep you reading. This comic book volume is a must for any Dungeons and Dragons fan, and an equally worthy purchase for anyone who isn't.

Brilliant
I picked by chance. Thought it would be a standard dungeons and dragons story. So much more! Think guardians of the galaxy in style with action, humour, great story and artwork.

Muito legal
Arte linda e história envolvente! Ritmo de RPG D&D das antigas! Personagens bem elaborados!! Nada muito complexo, mas a trama prende! Vale a leitura!

Good read
First D&D comic I've read and it was quite enjoyable. Fast paced and entertaining, it must have been good as I want to know what happens next so I'm off to get volume 2 now.
