Good value if expectations are correct
Worked well for me. I have used 2 of the 4 pack. One is installed in a car I have given a good beating and it still works. One has had little use but seems good. Torque seems strong. As others have mentioned it’s not super fast. Maybe not suitable for car where high speed is required but for regular cars it’s fine. Can’t be the price. Size is correct for servo mounts which it is intended. My picture is one installed in an SCX10.

Good Replacements for Traxxas 2018 and 2055
Direct fit for Traxxas 2018 and 2055 (and likely all other standard-size Traxxas) servos. Spline counts are the same as those Traxxas servos, so servo savers and servo horns are a direct swap onto these. All six worked out of the package. They don't claim to be waterproof, but they should be able to take a splashing (not so much being submerged). Torque at 6.0v of these MG996R is rated at 167oz/in which is much improved over the 72oz/in of the Traxxas 2018 or the 86 oz/in of the Traxxas 2055. No gear chatter and they do not twitch. Probably not going to win any competitions with these (except maybe a stock class?) but for a better-than-stock replacement, overall very satisfied for the price.

Great for the price.
Fantastic basic servos. I bought 40 of them for projects due to them being on sale at 2.50 each. 3 of the 40 had positional issues (twitches and whines) but were fixable. 1 needed re-soldering of the Pot, 1 had a bad capacitor on the motor terminals causing feedback, and one had a bad pot. I didn't actually fix the last one but instead, I converted it to a continuous rotation and then used it to drive a robotic joint that had its own positional Pot that was then connected to the original pot's terminals. It's a good way to increase the torque of a servo if you can deal with the speed loss. (mind that slowing the output works but gearing it for speed increase causes issues as the PID formula the control chip uses will constantly miscalculate inertia and it will overshoot routinely) Overall, at this price, they are a fantastic buy. That said, I wouldn't use them for constantly holding heavy-torque applications. They tend to start heating up if holding a load of more than ~400g/cm and that gets worse as the voltage gets higher. I advise designing for 5 volt supply. If you need holding torque, look at the FAN25/30/35/etc brushless servos (also more power efficient by about 20% in this case). It's just that brushless servos are 10 times more expensive and aren't really worth it for just experimenting.

Needed accessory at a good value.
Appears to be of quality construction, operates as intended. Running off a stock BEC, speeds seem acceptable for airplane flight. They are fairly good at self-centering from either direction. Out of the many I have bought, I think only one died prior getting it in the air. The installation was fine and properly powered up well. However, when I went to the field, I had one that would not power up. Trouble shooting led me to believe it had died. So maybe a fault in the factory construction?

Good for the money.
Good value. These are not the fastest servo but for the money they are fast enough. These are great for a basher or kit built rc car. I've got these in a few of my cars and they work great. The metal gears are plenty strong for 1/10 scale.

Great for Backyard Basher RC car
Solid servos at this price. I bought my son a 1/10 scale to start learning about RC cars with and he needed to replace some servos. These are great, they fit well, function well and perform great for a backyard basher. Torque seems good and noise isn't horrible. We'll see how long they last but seeing as we have 3 backups...I'm not too worried.

They work for a while.
These work and they are cheap. I have had 8 of these and they all failed the same way. Electronic failure. The mechanics seem to be pretty tough. They have plastic bushings on the main shaft but i haven’t broke one yet. Not water tight, not even dirt tight.
