DeltaFAUCET CO 19922-SSSD-DST Kitchen Faucet

I rarely do reviews because I’m generally happy with my purchases. I wanted to warn anyone looking at this faucet, because it’s pretty expensive. We had this faucet installed in late Sept 2020. Just 4 1/2 months later the hose connection to the pull out sprayer came apart soaking the inside of the cabinet and everything in it. We got it back together but can’t put the weight on the hose because it pulls apart again. I was told the blue plastic connection piece can loosen up over time, so obviously a known issue, and Delta is sending us a new hose and connector. I’m looking at replacing faucet anyway. I don’t want to deal with the mess every 5 months or so. Thankfully, it happened now because I just bought the same faucet for my dad’s kitchen because I thought it was so nice he’d like it too. This faucet was way too expensive to fail so quickly.

We had our plumber professionally install the Fossett. It took him 15 minutes and he was very complementary of the Fossett we had selected. Would buy it again.

We had this faucet in our last house- it worked ok but had issues getting it tight, not the end of the world. We got this again for our new house and it is constantly dripping even after I shake the water out! Very disappointed. Not sure if I need a replacement piece or an entirely new faucet?

This faucet is as good as it gets for all around service.

Easy to use and attractive

Hard water uses up the faucet cartridges (RP50587) quickly. In my case, they last about 3 years. Delta replaced the first two, but now they will not even reply to my emails. I suspect that this weakness is found in all Delta single-handle faucets. Buyer beware!

Have to take apart and clean small screen in the spray head every two weeks as it plugs up easily from particulates in the water.
