I have smaller hands and can work longer with these than the V8’s. More comfortable grip. If you have grip issues they are good because a sharp pair require far less pressure than any other brand I tried. I am a professional who uses them daily. There is one caveat to the new ones. For some reason the locking mechanism has a break in period that I don’t remember on my last pair (purchased 14 years ago). It took about to weeks of daily use before it opened and closed smoothly. I only purchased a new pair because I was unable to get a replacement blade for this size. I also purchased the V8’s as replacement blades are available but these are much more comfortable for longer periods of use. The ones I received are the real deal with made in Japan and ARS engraved in them.
