So, having read the reviews about the leather stain rubbing off first thing I did was take an old rag and buff it. I definitely suggest doing the same. With that done I am actually impressed with the quality and craftsmanship for the price. Yes, it could be better but not at this price point and I don’t have 100’s of dollars to spend on high quality genuine leather work. My only real complaint is that the stone is different than the one pictured. Again I don’t expect real semi precious stones but when I order one with a opal looking stone I expect an opal looking stone not amythist. However with these things in mind so long as I wasn’t looking to get exactly what is pictured, for my need I would definitely buy again.

I’m am so upset that this journal does not actually have a yellow stone. It came with a blue great stone that is not what I ordered at all. Super disappointed. Other than that this journal is nice but not as described at all

Not the green stone in the picture and I waited until after I ordered to read all the bad reviews and even tried to cancel my order after I read them but it was too late....but that's a good thing because with black being my favorite color and that's the stone I got I just love it. It does NOT make my hands orange, it does NOT look cheap, and I actually am quite pleased with it.

I got this as a gift for my mother's 63rd birthday. She absolutely loved it! I was hoping to get the journal that was pictured but mine was very similar. The only difference was that the one I received had a red stone in the center. This definitely wasn't a deal breaker. The detail is great. The size is just right. The clasps are beautiful.

This item is grossly smaller than advertised. This was a gift to my mom and I was so disappointed.
