It could be that the packaging was in error or that they have only one size and simply repackage as necessary (I suspect the latter). The quality really sucks too. There are burrs on the metal that will ruin your reed. I would purchase this item only as an inexpensive way to see if a trimmed reed works for you. If you can get this trimmer to work and decide that you like playing on trimmed reeds, then purchase a "real" reed trimmer. ### ⭐ Cheesy. *by S***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2020* Imprecise and poorly constructed. ### ⭐ Trash *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2020* Didn't cut the reed side to side. Blade was a few millimeters short. Didn't cut the reed all the way across --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/104824506-vgeby-saxophone-reeds-trimmer-musical-instrument-reed-cutter-for-saprano](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/104824506-vgeby-saxophone-reeds-trimmer-musical-instrument-reed-cutter-for-saprano) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-27*
