Exactly what I wished for. My 5 yr is an avid plant lover, this book is perfect for him, it shows plants and their details and characteristics in new ways. He has been so excited everytime he opens it. He is busy comparing what he sees in the book to the plants we have around our house. And because of the book he has already collected specific leaves from outside to look at under his microscope. Any child who loves nature and plants will certainly get something out of this book, the information is rich for older kids and the pictures vibrant for the younger.

A absolutely beautiful book!Sooo much good information and the pictures awesome-I got a copy for my son and family for Christmas and they felt the same way-They live in a rural type setting now and gardening important to them-This book goes beyond just gardening-I would give more stars if I could-

This is the book to get for young plant lovers. We love that veggies, fruits, flowers, and all types of plants are beautifully displayed in such a well put together book. My son loves it so much that the book is beginning to wear and I’m already thinking of getting a second copy.

My little guy loves this book. He loves for us to read all the details but is also content looking at the pictures himself. We live in Hawaii and a lot of tropical plants were listed.

The layout is just gorgeous. So colorful. I got this for a 7 year old in the family, and she had lots of fun showing the crazy and fun pictures to friends. Hopefully it will inspire our little botanist!
