When I met my husband, years ago, he seemed normal. He had a nice apartment with NO decorations. His couch, that he had purchased on Craigslist, had a black couch cover over the literal ugliest designed couch ever. His love seat did not have that luxury - it was just ugly. His large (perfect) dogs had made homes on these couches and therefore they were saggy and sad. He had a Walmart plastic entertainment center. His bedroom had a bed (mattress, box spring, rails) and one of those clear plastic drawer things. His sheets were black and his comforter was gray and black. That was it folks. Besides the hundreds of dollars in video game equipment, computers, guns, tools and adult movies, this was the bulk of everything in his place. Typical bachelor pad. As time progress and we spent more time together, I eventually spent the night. That night, as I laid down on the rough sheets and cheap, thin pillows, I wondered how he was comfortable. Then, I saw him pull out the answer. He had a little blue pillow tucked under his other pillow that he affectionately called "Blue Squishy". Blue Squishy had been purchased years prior at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. It was a microbead pillow and he had used the bejesus out of it. It was flat, worn, and faded. He loved it dearly and couldn't get comfortable without it. Sadly one day Blue Squishy got caught in a battle of teeth and claws and got ripped. He poured his microbead blood out on the bed until I could mend him - but he was never the same. Eventually I noticed my husband sleeping without him as it was more of an inconvenient lump than it was a supporting neck rest. I looked at all the local stores and could never find another Blue Squishy. That brings us to this guy. I was checking out all the Prime Day deals and I happened upon this little friend. He looked like Blue Squishy but many-a-pillow do. Without being able to feel him, I took the chance. When I got him home, I was delighted to find he felt just like (I imagine) Blue Squishy felt in his prime. I surprised my husband and he is just thrilled. He named this one "Blue Squishy" because he is super creative. This pillow is a life saver for my big-headed husband. He needs the extra support after carrying that melon around all day. I am glad I was able to find this and replicate a dear old friend for him.

I LOVE these bean pillows, they aren't for sale at Walmart like they use to be- I finally found them on here. I ordered two purple ones because they look the same as the ones they use to have The Wall Marts. I get them and open the plastic they came in and oh my gosh, that smell got me high for two weeks. Not a fun high, a high you nearly pass out from. Anyway, I've had the pillows for over a month now and can hardly smell the chemical smell unless I bury my face into it. It hasn't torn yet but it has kinda gotten "loser", not the end of the world. Will buy again. Will destink it somehow next time, maybe throw it in the dryer with some dryer sheets, lol IDK anything would be an improvement to that chemical smell!

I've had one of these pillows for ages, in fact it was getting to look quite disgusting over the years. But I had been trying to replace it with the exact same thing for a long time, with no success. I was so happy when I found the Microbead Cushie Roll Pillow advertised on Amazon.com in the same size and color as my previous one. I am a side sleeper and, because of a physical disability, remain in the same position the entire night. These pillows were the absolutely perfect solution to the joint achiness, irritations and pressure points, and muscle pain and discomfort that I was experiencing in the morning. The cover is ultra soft against the skin which eliminates the friction which can cause sores because of remaining in the same position over time. It is also somewhat stretchable over time, which can come in handy for easy positioning and re-positioning. The microbead filling provides an ideal "mold-able" support which allows it to contour to your body to reduce numbness, awkward positions, and unnecessary muscle stretching or flexing. I primarily use it to provide comfort and support for my arm. But I have also used it (them) for propping and supporting my neck, knees, and feet on several different occasions following surgery and hospitalizations. They are amazing, and would be beneficial to anyone (especially someone with limited mobility) and you would probably want to have more than just one! The only downfall is that they cannot be washed, only spot cleaned. But I promise that you will love them so much, that you will continue to use them no matter what they start to look like (would Linus ever depart from his trusty blanket?!). I did some price comparisons and these were easily the best price. Plus I didn't even have to pay shipping. They were delivered within a few days of my ordering them. I am extremely happy with the purchase!!!

Excellent travel pillow. Also great as a hospital pillow. I found it helpful after brain surgery.

I bought this as a replacement for a wonderfully soft and squishy microbead pillow I was given as a gift. I've had this one for about a month and it's ...ok. The pillow is slightly smaller than my previous pillow. It's also fairly stiff. Not stiff enough to offer good support but it's also not soft enough to feel super comfy. The stitching is a bit loose and sloppy looking. The cover is disappointing. It's a very, very thin cover. Mine has already developed a small hole and near the hole is a small run (like pantyhose gets). I believe the hole is from getting snagged on my dog's toenail. There's no inner lining (unlike better quality versions) so once it has even the tiniest hole the beads will start coming out. I would have given only 2 stars except for two things: 1)The purple color is nice and vibrant. Absolutely true to what what shown online. 2) Price- for the low cost I can't expect too much I wish I'd spent a little more and gotten a higher quality version like the FOM brand or similar. I wouldn't buy this for myself again but it would be OK if you wanted it just for the color and shape and planned on only light use. Or to take with you when traveling (since you wouldn't miss it terribly if it were lost or damaged).

For those recovering from broken bones, surgery, or other injuries, these pillows filled with foam beads are the best! The conform and support without "pushing back" if that makes any sense. They do unfortunately deflate over time, but they are so good that I have (unfortunately) replaced them many times over. The pillow I received has a nice quality fabric with the right amount of stretch to make the pillow comforatble. Because they deflate, I prefer to purchase them a little over filled, and this one is not. However, it does come at a good fill for comfort, so for a new injury of an arm or foot that needs to be propped up and rested, it will already be at its most comfortable.

Love these pillows for support pillows for side and between knees for sleeping. They also help keep you cool in summer and warm in winter I find. Only reason not giving 5 stars is that it came in a different shade of colour than I ordered and slightly different design ... not as shown in picture. I ordered a royal blue one and what came was a baby blue with fuzzy sides. Not a huge deal for me but for others could be.
