I've searched too long for the best sunscreen. I've probably tried 50 products. This one is awesome in every way. It is actually transparent once you spread it around enough. It is easy to rub in (no tugging or irritation). I can even put it on my lips, which are much darker than my skin, and no white at all. It is not thick. It leaves your skin silky smooth and soft but is not greasy at all. It doesn't pill or ball up. It's not sticky. It doesn't smell like perfume. It's alcohol-free. It doesn't sting or tingle. It has some physical blockers, which means it doesn't have to be reapplied as often as long as you're able to keep it in place. It goes well under makeup. It doesn't flake off. I can put it right up next to my eyes and it doesn't make them sting. You won't be able to tell you have it on. It's far better than expensive ones like Kiehl's, Lancome, La Roche Posay, and Benefit. Review: Non-greasy, non-drying, no strong smell, great for (certain types of) breakout prone skin - This is the best sunscreen I have ever used. I have light-medium combination skin with yellow undertones and large pores that is sensitive to products and prone to hormonal breakouts. Chemical sunscreens I have used in the past have caused multiple small whiteheads to pop up within a day or two of use, and mineral sunscreens tended to be greasy and always left a visible white film on my skin. This product applies well (it is almost 100% clear after rubbing it in), is non-drying, virtually odorless, non-greasy, protects my skin from the sun, and does not cause ANY breakouts. I only wish they sold it in larger volumes, because I go through it very quickly. It is a bit pricey, but to me it is worth it. If your skin type is similar to mine I would give it a go.

Perfect Everyday Protection
I've used this sunblock on my face and neck every day for almost 2 years now and it's an absolute necessity in my skincare routine. I have sensitive, very fair, combination skin and this sunblock never breaks me out and never feels oily on the skin. I live in Florida where religious sunscreen application is a must for someone of my complexion and I've never been burned as long as I've used this product. I will say that if I'm planning on being in direct sunlight for most of the day, or when I'm on the water, I swap this out for something water resistant with a higher SPF, but this is my absolute favorite. It wears well under makeup too, including full foundation, and the zinc oxide formula is truly transparent. It doesn't take forever to rub into my skin and it doesn't leave a white sheen that some other zinc oxide products on the market are apt to do. Overall, this product is a steal, as one bottle lasts me 10 months!

Not a lotion and not for sweaty people.
Great texture and great sun protection! Definitely one of my favorite sun products out there- I've never burnt and never look oily or feel sticky with it on. But with that said, it is a sun product and not a replacement lotion. I live in a warm and dry climate and this is far from enough to prevent skin flakiness, but would likely work amazingly for more humid environments. I usually moisturize first, then apply a layer of Elta MD over the top. Additionally, I wouldn't recommend wearing this in situations where you might be sweating. I've worn this hiking and it gets slick and sweats off quickly, stinging my eyes in the process. It also tastes terrible if you sweat a bit of it onto your lips.

GREAT for oily skin
I have very oily skin and live a city that is super hot and humid in summer. This is by far the best summertime facial sunscreen I have used. It goes on so cleanly (w/o a sticky residue) that the first time I used it, I applied it twice. I was nervous that I didn't have enough on or that I wouldn't be protected! But it's fantastic. I use it on my face and chest and have not burned in the slightest, even walking around in direct sunlight. Oh, and I have never had a breakout or any irritation from it. I have fair skin, so the slight white cast isn't a problem for me but it pretty much disappears after applied. I keep a tube in my bag all summer for reapplications in the afternoons after work - Even on top of my unwashed face, it doesn't feel sticky Now that the weather is getting cooler, I think it may be a bit drying for winter so I'll be switching over to the UV clear (great product too!).

My Favorite Sunscreen
This is the sunscreen I always return to. This is my third bottle, and I use it daily. I use a lot of Asian beauty products, and am occasionally lured away from Elta MD by the siren's song of Japanese and Korean sunscreens. So far, they haven't worked out for me, and I always come back to this. Pros: When used in the recommended amount, it protects skin well from the sun, prevents sun-related pigmentation, isn't excessively oily after application, has a smooth/non-sticky texture, is suitable under foundation and/or powder, absorbs well, and is unscented. Cons: Has a significant white cast (while this is not an issue for me, it would likely be problematic for darker skin tones), is a bit pricey since I use it daily and go through a lot, and is ever so slightly drying. For reference, I am a 34 year old woman, whose skin is combination (generally oily with dry sides and jaw), very sensitive, acne-prone, and quite light in tone (MAC shade C1).

The perfect sunscreen!
This is amazing! My eyes get irritated easily with some products so I can't use chemical sunscreen, but physical sunscreen likes to leave a white film on your skin. This one is more expensive compared to the others on the market but it's absolutely worth it. It's a physical sunscreen so it doesn't irritate my eyes and there's no white cast! It goes on very smoothly, too. FYI, I have oily skin and I found this to work perfectly. The only complaint I have is the size. Since this can be used on both the face and the body, 3oz is not really that much if you use it everyday. In comparison, Banana Boat gives you almost triple the amount for only $7. I solve this problem by using Elta MD only on my face and neck, where it's the most sensitive, and use the chemical sunscreen I already have on other parts on my body where it's not as sensitive.

Great for shaved head, not greasy
This is expensive compared to stuff you can get at Walmart but I think it’s worth it. I have a shaved head so I use it daily. It protects good but it’s not greasy like the cheaper stuff. It doesn’t get all over and smudge up my glasses and my glasses don’t slip down my nose with this stuff. My first bottle was recommended by my dermatologist but it’s cheaper on Amazon than at his office.
