It cuts, but does not live up the the quality of a my lost Laser.
I bought this to replace a Laser knife that got lost on camp a few years ago during bad weather where those in the Yurt kept dry and chopped veg, but somehow it never got back to me. That knife I'd had for over 20 years and was my best ever knife....So when I got this I was disappointed. The handle was larger than expected and more "clumpy" to feel. This meant you didn't get such a good handle to blade connection. I also felt the blade seemed loose in comparison to the smooth continuous feel of my missing Laser. It cuts, but grinds on the glass cutting board. The serrations were bulky and it made a terrible noise on the chopping board. So it will cut but no the extent or the quality of my previous Laser. As other reviewers have said it tears more on some things.. I found the depth of the blade unhelpful for cutting and didn't do what I expected it to. However some people may prefer a wider blade. I've got problems with my hands and so it's not as comfortable to hold as ones with a smaller/less deep handle.I am sure it will suffice for now, and wish it had been this one I'd taken to camp as not anywhere near as useful...Saying all that, if you need a general cutting knife, at a low cost, it's ok for the price, just not what I was hoping for.

Rust spots within a few months.
I got the 20cm laser knife as I wanted a big knife and I have several smaller laser knives that I have been using for years and they have given and continue to give excellent service. However this knife now manufactured in China has already started to develop rust spots on the blade and I have only had it for a few months. My other years old knives are fine with not a blemish on the blades. Obviously laser knives are not what they were, I have now bought a more expensive large knife from another manufacturer. So far so good. If you are thinking of buying a laser knife be aware you may be buying a different knife weeks later.
