I installed the door through a stucco wall and the aluminum strip on the inside worked well when trimmed to fit. I didn't like the bolts that hold the inner frame to the outer frame as the tolerance to the edge of the frame is minimal. Easy to make a mistake and then you would have a gap to fix. Instead, I framed the inner walls with 2x4's and screwed the dog door frames directly to the new 2x4's. The full array of magnets is fairly strong so being able to pull some out was a nice feature. Overall this is a great door and I expect many years of use from it.

This pet door is very well built and incredibly sturdy, much more so than the first we purchased from a big box home improvement store and returned.The magnetic flap closure works every time, and it hasn’t leaked a drop through two substantial heavy wind rain storms where wind driven rain was directed at the side of the house I mounted it on. Surprisingly, no cold drafts of any kind can be felt, even when our temps dropped well below freezing.Though more expensive than some pet doors out there, the quality justifies the expense. Highly recommended: I’d definitely buy it again.

This is my second Endura pet door. My first was in my last house, and now I have this one in the new house. This is a very high quality door. I have a 70-pound yellow lab and a 20-pound dachsund terrier mix. The door is big enough for the lab, but the little dog is also able to go in and out. Both dogs took only a relatively brief amount of training, although the lab was easier to train, and the little one may never have learned if he hadn't seen his brother coming and going. A smaller door might be easier for a dog his size. Either way, the door does a good job keeping the weather out while still giving the dogs full access to the fenced in back yard. I fully recommend this product.

You get what you pay. My house has a strong north wind that hits my backyard. Had another flap that was worthless. This thing keeps the outside outside. Looks very nice. Instructions were very clear. The unit looks professional. Also is a bit loud so I know when the dog is headed out and in. Just spend the money and be done.

Solid doggie door. Took a little extra coaxing to train my dog how to push through since it takes a some force to push open (bacon on the other side convinced her finally). But after a day or so she had it down like a pro. It's pricey but this is definitely one of those "get what you pay for" situations and I don't think you'll regret the cost.

I'll start of buy saying I debated this door option for almost 2 years the price versus other price options and was still the cheapest option the install went very well instructions were good this is not a fast process take the time to be exact .I am very impressed with the double flaps and the magnets work very well to seal the flaps from being blown open for the wind .I have compared all the different types of dog doors and reviews of many and went with this style in my opinion feel it to be the best.i strongly recommend this door.

Very well made and insulated right now it 20 degrees here in Wyoming with 50 mph winds no leaking or cold coming through took a minute for our 4 little dogs to get used to the double flap but use it no problem now love it highly recommend would buy again

Super durable, fit into our new home with extra thick walls. Easy to use for all three of my dogs; Mini-dachshund, mid-size Pom and large Labrador. The flaps are heavy duty and really keep out the heat and cold but they are noisy when they slap closed. You always know when a dog is coming in or out.
