Bright, vibrant colours, brilliant value for money.
I bought these pens as I was looking for a good type of brush pens. These are watercolour brush pens so you get a little clear brush pen that you just fill up with water. To open the water pen you turn it anti clockwise, not clockwise I found that out as I tried to open it myself and found that you open it anti clockwise instead to put the water into it. The pens came in a plastic box with two poppers to open the flap up. Then there are 3 drawers of all the pens in colour organised order. The back of the cardboard slip they have put all the colours onto it to show you what they look like. You also get an envelope that has little pages of watercolour paper in them. So you can test the pens out on them as well. I tested every colour since buying these. I had one pen that was a little drier than the others. From what I've read you just pop the lid on tight then hold the pen straight down, so the lid is pointed down and gently squeeze the pen. Then take the lid off to see if any ink has come through. If it hadn't do that again and the pen will end up that the brush becomes slightly damp, not soaking as that would lead to bleeding when you use the pens on paper. I'm actually well impressed with these pens since using them I've created loads of different pictures and all the pens are bright, vibrant, you can build up loads of colour to make it even brighter, or you can make it look faded and build up like a proper watercoloured picture. I've not found any problems so far and I've been using these pens pretty much all the time. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy however the pens are completely tight in their slots so the pens won't fall out and go all over the place, they're pretty much stuck in those slots. The plus as well is that they didn't break the bank, so they were good value. I have been searching for good brush pens for people like myself on low income. These popped up and I went for them. They haven't let me down at all, in fact I'd recommend getting brushes like these to try doing art with before paying mega money for dearer sets, that you don't know how to use properly yet. I've been testing these brushes out to get my artwork coloured, to relearn watercolouring and they gave me the ability to do different strokes, from lines to broader strokes so I'm well impressed with these.

48 GOOD QUALITY GRADE BRUSH PENS at GREAT PRICE
Versatile watercolour brush pens. Very pleased with this 48 colour set. Lots of different colours that can all be mixed together to create an almost infinite amount of colours. The colours are bright and look beautiful. I used the brush pens on good watercolour paper to create the Lilly Painting using just a little bit of ‘wet in wet’ and the painting is vibrant. The flexible brush tips can be used in different ways to get different marks. As well as using good grade watercolour paper, I also use the brush pens on Faber-Castell Sketch Pad Paper as the colours do not bleed. Very pleased and would buy again. The pens are not refillable and I have no idea if I can buy replacement pens should I use a particular colour a lot and it should run out but these are Good quality pens at a great price.

Great Brush Pens for Beginners!
I use this product in my traditional watercolour works, and so far, I'm quite impressed! The colours are rich, the bristles haven't frayed or lost their shape, and they're very ergonomic. The included swatch sheet and watercolour paper were added bonuses that very much impressed me - they make it possible to start working right away without having to buy paper or swatch everything. The only downsides are that 1) the packaging is a little clunky, though I acknowledge that finding a neat way to store 48 brush pens is no easy task. 2) If you dip them in water to achieve a watercolour effect instead of a dry-brushed effect, they lighten very quickly, and it takes a while for the colour to come back. With some practice and planning, though, this isn't an issue.Overall, wonderful brush pens! I'd recommend this set more for beginners because for professional works, you don't want to have to wait for the brush pen to regain its colour while the rest of your work is drying (in watercolour, it's important to move fast, but for beginners, it doesn't matter so much).

Fantastic range of colours
My daughter is starting to turn into a real artist at the age of just 9 so want her to havea range of good quality materials to really flex her creative muscles. These brush pens will be an excellent addition to her kit-I really shopped around to have something with a huge colour choice & was not disappointed, there's a brilliant range here & the quality is fantastic. She will love creating different effects with these & it's a lovely touch that these come with a water brush & a pack of water brush paper too. I'm excited to see what she creates with them!

Ok for colouring books; not great for calligraphy or watercolour.
I'm used to using Faber Castell PITT brush pens but they are very expensive so I decided to see what these were like.On the plus side they do come in a great range of colours which is great, and also they include a free blending brush which I thought was a nice touch. However on the negative side, I would strongly recommend that you do a brush test of ALL of your pens when you get them first, because for me some of them were fine, but others were half dry so that when you went to draw a thicker line the line was streaked. One of the pens was completely dried out and didn't work at all. This is not acceptable and as a result I have returned them. Also some of the colours come out bold and strong where others come out almost pastel and pale. The caps on the lids give no indication as to which is which so again I would recommend that you do a patch colour for each pen before you begin so that you know what you're going to get from each pen. They are very tightly crammed into the box making me think that after a short while of usage the pen trays would probably get damaged. A slightly looser fit would be more helpful.I'm pretty sure the nib of the blending brush is plastic not nylon. It's harder to tell with the brush pens themselves but the nibs didn't feel as smooth as the Faber Castell ones to use, and don't seem to hold the ink as well. The nib is also slightly longer and considerably more flexible than the Faber ones which makes it MUCH more difficult to do calligraphy/brush lettering with them. When I tried blending these pens with water the results were very inconsistent, with some colours blending ok and others not at all.So I think in summation if you're looking for cheap brush pens in a good selection of colours that you want to give to kids for drawing, or for an adult colouring book these would be fine. If you want to use them for watercolour brushes the limited testing that I did made me feel like these were not that great at blending. If you want them for calligraphy/brush lettering these are very challenging to use. The nib is too flexible and the ink doesn't stay in the nib so they end up being streaky. Hope this helps some people in choosing these.

Good budget pens and great value for money
Easy to use good value budget pens I had a problem with red ones been missing but the seller reimbursed me a small fee because of this, the seller was very prompt in dealing with the issue. I would highly recommend this seller to others as they are good value for the money and are fantastic watercolour pens and can be used easily

Aquarellmalerei so unfassbar einfach!
