See the pics attached they show the levels of corrosion that happens to the probes the first pic has gone rusty and poisoned my tank water, I stand to lose 1x Oscar cichlid, 1x 22yo Common Pleco, 6x Cuckoo Catfish, 1x 30yo Platydoras Costatus are all at risk due to the shoddy manufacturing these are no way suitable for any aquatic use the 3rd pic shows a probe that has corroded and it has not even been put into the tank yet as it is a spare for the moment I own 5 tanks and 3 of the 6 Thermometers have corroded again as in the first lot did exactly the same I contacted the sellers they said they were very sorry and please accept some replacements again they came with no suckers no tabs to keep the battery from functioning during transit and here I am writing this review as I feel I was duped to not write this damning review when I experienced the same issues with my first order of these Digital thermometers I urge all customers to check the probes to see how much corrosion has happened, all my tanks have external and internal filtration with UV and only 1 of these replacement thermoneters has not tarnished yet the previous 6 they all corroded to different degrees. Ps the Oscar died today on the 23/12/2019 @ 15:20 it's now 05/05/2020 and they are still for sale on Amazon @@ do not buy unless you want your aquatic pets to die!!

I use these for keeping an eye on my aquarium temperature having had a heater failure recently. The display is large and clear but only displays in Celsius and appears to read too high by at least 2 degrees. For me this is not a big issue as I'm more interested in making in sure it doesn't drop suddenly and that much I can see clearly and quickly. I use a decent kitchen thermometer for a more accurate reading and setting my heater

The description states to use the provided suction cups, there were none included and even if there were there’s nowhere to attach suckers to the thermometer. The batteries were already installed and the display was on so odds are they may not last long before needing to be replaced depending on how long they’ve been in there already.However the thermometer appears to be working fine, just a shame you can’t attach to the actual aquarium.

I have lots of thermometers in my tank. They’re never the same but usually within 1defree of each other. However, all three of these do read the same temperature as each other, but are all 5 degrees more than all others. My 26.5 degree tank is reading 31.5 degrees on these thermometers and I know that’s not right. These should not be sold, they will be the difference between life and death for the aquatics.

All three of these thermometers were supplied with duff batteries, so I had to source new batteries before I could use these items. As soon as I got them working i tried all three in one aquarium tank for quality control and everyone gave a different temperature reading. These items look the business but they fail miserably in accuracy.

Absolutely perfect! I'll be buying more for other tanks too in the future, not only does it enable me to quickly check the temperature, but also with more than one it's easy to do a water change and keep the tank temperature at a fixed temp, with same temperature cleaner water!

Bought the 3 pack as I need 2 for a snake and one for an axolotl, no suction cups in the packet for them. Now having to work out how to mount all of them, not what I expected but it works for what I need.

All units arrived with dead or almost dead battery. Reading varry way more than specs say and it depends on battery level.
