Toddler loves this set.

This kit was a bit expensive for me, but it's very nice, and great quality, so I think it's worth it. There are 8 cords/strings, and there are plenty of beads for 8 necklaces. The beads are really nice, well made/painted, smooth, and attractive. My 5-year-old and 3-year-old granddaughters took some time to choose their beads - they were completely focused on choosing the prettiest ones. The laces/cords have a stiff end, like a shoelace, so it's easy for them to string to the beads. The 3-year-old needed my help to hold the end of the lace, but the 5-year-old did it by herself. To keep the beads from sliding off the other end while the girls were stringing their beads, I tied a small round bead at the end, temporarily. When they were done adding beads, I untied that little bead. Now that I think about it, a small barrette that clamps tightly would have worked perfectly, until the girls were done adding beads and I tied the ends together. That's what I will do next time. The girls were very proud of their necklaces, and happy to show their parents. There are some pink plastic oblong beads in the compartment with the laces/cords, and I couldn't figure out what they were for. But since there were 8 of those plastic beads and 8 laces, I assumed they were intended to be used for tying the ends to make the necklace. I stuck one end of the lace through the end of the pink bead, then put the other end of the lace through the pink bead at the opposite end, then tied the ends together. That was my best guess.

Bought for a gift and she loves it! The pieces are big enough that they don’t get lost in the carpet

Very cute set! Purchased for my Kindergartener. She used it to make Friendship and matching necklaces for her friend at school. The yard/string is very kid friendly to add beads. Wonderful set that I bought a second one. 💙

Nice set, but the age on the box showed 4+. I think it could be changed to 5 or even 6+ because my kids are having some hard time to put those together at that age. And I wish there are more animal pattern on there instead of just flower and simple butterfly

This set is a great option for kids that aren’t quite ready for smaller beads but want to get in on the fun. The bright colors and different shaped beds are fun and inviting and offer hours of fun for little ones. The price was great too!

My freshly 3 year old spent an hour sitting at the table making necklaces with this kit. Her older siblings were using big kid string and beads which she does not yet have the motor skills to maneuver. I love that this kit is frustrating free and gives her the chance to practice those fine motor skills! The string has very sturdy shoelace ends which provide a stiff string for the beads. The real bonus is that this set is reusable, so when she was done we simply untied the knots and replaced the beads into the kit.

I keep trying to find toys that will occupy my kids while I cook dinner. If they had a choice they would watch tv non-stop but we have been trying to curb that habit. I absolutely love this bead play set for them. The strings have a hard plastic end which makes threading the beads easy for tiny hands. They love mix and matching to create bracelets, necklaces or key-chains. The best part is they don't like what they made they can disassemble their creation put the bead back into the plastic cubbies. This is brought hours of fun for my kiddos. The only set back is I wish it came with more string, but this is only because they have played with it so much some of the string has been cut and destroyed.

My daughter makes silver beaded and feathered jewellery. My 4 year old grandson was delighted to receive this exciting set in order to work alongside her. He only needed some help with the knots.

My 2 grandchildren have had hours of enjoyment threading these breads on the easy to use strings. A great way to keep kids busy and focused. The quality of the beads is exceptional. Great activity for 2 year olds to 8 year olds.

Really Cute Beading Set. Very durable and my 4 year old loves playing with it.

Another great Melissa and Doug product. Colors are bright and vibrant. There aren't very many beads, which was disappointing especially given the price.
