After 20 years of wrestling with traditional connectors, I finally tried pass-through style plugs—and wow, what a difference! These connectors have completely transformed my termination process, eliminating unreliable connections. The pass-through design removes all the guesswork, and makes it so easy to ensure you're getting everything right. No more squinting to check if wires reach the pins perfectly (which is harder as you get older for sure!) just push them through, and crimp. With traditional plugs, even careful work could result in dodgy connections. These guarantee success every time. I've had 16 successes out of 16 attempts so far, so that's a great feeling! Obviously these work better if you have the right crimping tool (which has a blade for trimming the excess cable sticking out the plug), but I used them with my trusty 15 year old crimpers and they worked just fine. The only post-processing I needed to do was to cut the excess with flush cut trimmers and a stanley blade. They're good on price too, especially when you consider the cost of losing time and connectors when trying the traditional approach.

The idea of passing all the wires through the connector is a good one to check the sequence. However, you need a dedicated crimper specially designed for these connector to crimp and cut excess wires at the same time. Other reviewer say cut the excess wires and pull back a little then crimp. Every time I did this the whole wires came out fully out of the connector as the tolerance is only micromillimeter. Do not waste your money only if you buy expensive high quality dedicted open RJ45 crimper. What a nightmare having wasted my morning with huge disappointment. Next step for me is to buy special crimper which is very expensive and I only need to use it twice. Hope this help you making your decision. Update, I have now used a dedicated crimper to crimp and cut excess wire. I have now got excellent result with these connectors. Having said that the crimper has failed after 2 uses, so went back to my normal crimper and I have cut the excess wires with a scissors. This was very fiddly but worked after 2 trials. The massage is if you are like me a DIYer who never done RJ45 before then do not expect an easy job, do trial run on few connectors before you tackle the proper one. I now know why these connectors comes in a bag of 20 or 50 or even more. More chance for me to eventually get is right. I have upgraded one star to 4 as earlier assessment based on my lack of skills. However the connectors are very good.

I've tried many differnt types of ethernet connectors over the years and these are probably the easiest to use. So long as the cable wires are straightened completely, no kinks or split plastic and then flattened in the correct sequence they will push through the connector without much effort. They crimp easily with a good connection that's hard to pull off ( I tried ). They are expensive for what they are but worth the money if, like me you are a relative amateur and always afraid of making a rubbish connection.

These do exactly what you need. They are easy to use, the wires push through them nicely, and when crimped they make good connection. I have 50 of another apparently well rated brand but almost all of them failed to work after crimping, I switched to these and every one of them has worked. Not a bad price, and if you factor in the time you can lose with poor connections it makes them cheap. Each connection has reported the correct speed.

Originally i bought a kit containing various tools and RJ45's connectors; i watched so many video's on how to do the connections and thought it would be relatively simple to do... WRONG!! Unless you have tiny hands then you maybe able to do this with the old connectors and many many people have, it could of been down to the fact that i had CAT6 cable so the wires and sheath were thicker but i did 6 connectors in total and re-did 4 after and still they didn't work. Desperate times were had and then found the ones with a load bar - again useless as the wires kept springing out when being pushed home, this happened every time so i thought that's it i'm going to have to employ an engineer.. THEN..... I came across these and OH MY GOD these are BRILLIANT; so easy to use and so easy to keep the wires secure even when you use the crimps as you still can pull through the cable tight and crimp. One thing i would say is you DO NOT need to use a specific Crimper as any will do and as i said previously i had one as part of the kit i bought which did the job absolutely fine, ok it didn't remove the excess wires but a simple sharp snap off blade did the job with ease.. All tested and all or working 100% fine. Will never use anything else again; 100% would recommend these connectors

Great product and everything is in perfect order.

I couldn't get these to fit Cat6 wiring. Any Cat5 was easy and I'll use them there - so half marks as I'm on a Cat6a project and they were listed as compatible.
