I hardly ever write reviews, but had to write one for this product. I purchased this product for a one-week family vacation to Costa Rica, from which I just returned, and it worked extremely well. I don't think I had a single mosquito bite despite being deep in rain forest territory and other nature environments throughout the trip. I applied the roll-on gel around my neck, and on my wrists/arms, ankles/legs. Just a short "strip" of gel on the skin seemed to be sufficient. I applied the gel twice daily. I also wore the wrist band as added protection, though this may not have been necessary. I only used one of the "pellets" for the whole week. Both products have a very pleasant scent, and even with continuous use throughout the week, there was no skin irritation. By the second day of trip, another family member wanted to use the roll-on gel as well. Both of us used the gel roll-on twice daily for a week, and there is still ample product left in the applicator. I am extremely pleased with this product and will not hesitate to get it again for my next trip.

I am a mosquito magnet. I've worn this while outside for several hours,only one bite - but think it was biting fly. I also wore one on my ankle and one on my wrist doing yard work at dusk for more than 1 hr - zero bites!!! Amazing. Normally I would be bit up after just a few minutes. The wrist band pellets are strong, so I moved it from my wrist to ankle and it still worked great. I store them in a zip lock bag between uses.

Both items work, but the wrist band is not as effective as the roll on oil. I dab a bit on each ankle, knee, hip, elbow, top of each shoulder and I do not get bitten my gnats or mosquitos. Horse flies and bees/wasps are undeterred though. But overall, these do help and help better than most things out there, if you do not want to douse yourself in repellent. Seems to stay effective after a quick swim too!

This worked so good that I looked up the ingredients and made a spray of my own for my deck that actually worked. I bought the bracelet for my friend who is super allergic to bees and Carrie’s an épi pen and she said it really helped with the bugs.

Love love love this! Went to Florida for 8 days, outside and near water at all different hours of the day! No bites, no fly bys nothing! Will definately be buying more. My bracelet even got wet and it still worked! Highly recommend!

I used this product last summer and had trouble finding it anywhere else near me. The directions say to put it on in three places but I would do four this year as the mosquitos are so bad. I also use the bracelet which is what I had already and needed the refill. Great buy for all three.

This may work for some people, but for me it did not. Today while wearing the bracelet with the deterrent, as well as having applied a generous amount of the roll on deterrent to my legs, I have been attacked multiple times by mosquitoes. Tried reapplying often just to see, and it continued. Had to give up and put long pants on.

Doesn’t work that well if your camping. But sitting at home in the back yard it’s fine
