It's OK
It's OK, but doesn't cover seventh chords.

Root positions ONLY!!
Actually, it can do more than root positions, but ONLY root position chords are illustrated in diagrammatical form. (i.e. a keyboard). Inversions only appear in text - E,G,C: G,C,E; A,C,F: C,F,A etc. This is NOT designed to give you all the chords possible either. (I should repeat this rather important fact)It is to show you each chord in its ROOT position, built on each degree of the scales - both major and minor. It really needs a professional teacher who understands chords, to show a beginner how to use it properly.I purchased it ONLY because it fitted my current method of teaching chords PERFECTLY. Otherwise I might recommend a proper text book with ALL chords in it.BUT, it really is useful to see how each chord is formed on each note of each major and minor scale and the relationships thereto within the scales. It's a bit hard to see 'at-a-glance' which chord is which, but again, I don't think this is its true function. The 'key' is clear to it all and each degree of the scale and type of chord is clearly illustrated. For specific purposes (like mine) it is perfect.

Its great for chord scales in each key both major and minkr.
minor. Really love this chart because it has me playing the piano more. I'm a guitarist, but piano was originally my 1st instrument. And now I'm back at it working on various chord progressions and melodies, playing by ear what I already know from playing rhythm and lead on the guitar. The chart is helping me to play in different keys that I never played in before, kinda of like cross training with the guitar. I wish I had wipe-off markers or something to use with it, because I lose my place alot until I memorize the chord progression. I think posits work okay as well.

Cute and Cut
These are perfect size for my sewing kit. They look cute and they actually cut too. I hope they last.

WAY too big. cannot find anyplace to put it on the wall and the font is too small.
could have been better, if you have like 5x5 feet on a wall in front of your piano, you might be in luck, otherwise its too large to reference.

Good quick reference.
I was looking for a quick reference to hang above my key board and this has what I need. I'm a bass player and need some help with chords for the piano. I can remember which chords make up a song but not how to play them. I know a chord is a chord and I can tell you what's in them from the bass but piano no. If you are just starting out with music theory the way the information is presented might be a little confusing otherwise if you have a bit behind you it's a great quick reference and you'll find it useful. This has 5 star information but 3 star delivery. It came folded up. I suppose if it was rolled up the shipping cost would be more.
