PHENOMENAL PRODUCT!!!
WOW! I have got to say I was not expecting to luv this product the way I do. This seriously met mii expectations in nearly every area of what a weight support belt is supposed to do. PROS WEIGHT: It supports the weight of your gimbal and then some. I have the Zhiyun Crane 3s and for those of you who have that gimbal, you know how heavy it can get when holding it. I used it for mii last 2 shoots (1 a small war scene with lots of running and the other for an episode where both our actors spent most of their time on the trails hiking) and this baby seriously saved mii back from a LOT of unnecessary back breaking. As you can see in the picture I provided, I'm just holding it with one hand. Don't mind the expression on mii face. That's only because it was hot as hell and I was sweating ballz LOL You seriously can't feel the weight of your gimbal once it's attached to the weight support belt. SUPPORT HOLDER: As I stated before, I wasn't expecting to luv this product. The holder that your gimbal sits in, holy crap! That thing is hefty, it's rugged, sturdy and definitely durable! It's well-built and very easy to use while filming on the go. CONS BELT: Mii only gripe about this item is the belt itself. The belt is made of simple material that isn't all that comfortable. And, when you're wearing this for the bulk of your day of filming, you can feel it around your waist. But, it's nothing a simple hack can't fix by way of placing a folded towel, or whatever you have that's comfortable, on the inside to help soften the strap. I wish it was made of something more "padded" that way it would really rest around your waist while filming on the go with a gimbal attached. Overall, the quality of this weight support belt is awesome, and at the price you really canNOT go wrong! A definite must have if you're the filmmaker that's alwayz on the go with their gimbal.

It is what it is.
I tried everything to help relieve some of the stress of holding a Rs2 Gimbal with a camera and monitor for extended periods of time. At first I tried adding a Mono pod to the base so if I needed to film a long stationary scene I could just extend the mono pod. It works but then the problem is you have this huge pole hanging off the bottom of your setup which affects the type of shots you can do, not to mention if it bumps into anything it can cause camera shake. I saw this product before deciding on the nuclear option (for my wallet) and getting the Thanos arm or a Flowline vest. This product is simple, you see the pic? yeah that's how it works. The build quality is real nice, I kept reading reviews about a piece of it getting loose but I haven't experienced that yet, I don't know if the Product has had revisions or if its just my luck. If you're filming a wedding and you need to do a follow shot as the bride walks in but then that leads to a long ceremony where you don't want to hold the entire weight of the gimbal all you have to do is put the base of your gimbal into the socket and hold it at a tilt. It really helps a lot, I was in car accident that damaged my back so holding the gimbal for extended periods of time used to be hell for me. Now when ever I get tired or even when I'm just on stand by waiting it helps so much to be able to give my arms and back a break. I give it 5 stars because it has fulfilled the needs I wanted out of this product. It works as advertised, feels well made and I really couldn't say what I think would make it better. *I will update review if needed*

Works ok, but of more limited use than I had hoped
This looks like it should be a welcome solution for the physical demands of holding a stabilizer in front of your body using just your arms to support it (see my review of the DJI RS 3 Mini https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BLD1KBHQ), but that was naive on my part. While it provides support when shooting from a fixed vantage point and waiting between takes, it does NOT work while shooting while walking. In retrospect, this now seems obvious to me. Think about walking with a glass of water in your hand compared with carrying a glass of water held against your waist! Of course, you would never think of doing that because your hips jerk rapidly when you walk--beyond the ability of the stabilizer to compensate. I decided to keep it anyway because it is well-designed and well-made and is a welcome muscle relief when shooting from a fixed vantage point, as well as when waiting between takes. Even with the RS 3 Mini grip extension attached, the vantage point is well below eye level, which might not work well in all situations. I'm keeping my eye out for a small but longer tripod that I can use instead of the extended grip. A longer mini tripod would raise the vertical level of the lens to eye level.

UPDATE: Good. With flaws and needed mod.
Updated 7/15/2019: From 3 stars to 5 stars. --- A great help in supporting the weight of my Ronin S, I can walk around all day for weddings, and it’s a great help on other commercial work. Like other reviews...the end caps come off super easy. I lost one and epoxy’d the other. If I had time to send it back I would to get a replacement. Would recommend you glue your caps. _________________ Update: The seller got in touch after seeing my review and sent me a brand new replacement within a few days. It seems to be an improved design because the caps are noticeably tighter, moving how they should without falling off. I appreciate that kind of customer service. It's been a great help to me on numerous shoots.

If you've used a gimbal with any type of camera added for a day of filming, you'll know that it's a real workout just holding and filming for 5 minutes - especially whilst the talent/director pisses about trying to make a decision. The options are limited: you could go the whole hog and spend £300-500 on a full bodyrig support, get a gym membership....or buy this. I chose the latter option and used it immediately on a manufacturing site shoot and.....it really does work to ease the strain. It helps with shooting, making one-handed focus/setup adjustments and just relieving the muscles whilst filming longer clips. Anyone who's done long shots and their muscles start to quiver and shake (which offsets the whole point of the gimbal) will understand what I'm talking about here. For the techno-junkies out there I was using the Zhiyun Crane with a Sony A7C and 24mm lens attached - not the heaviest combo....and neither is 2 bags of sugar, but you wouldn't want to walk around holding them at arm's length all day either, would you? The downside, and why I didn't give it 5 stars? Price, of course. If this thing was half the price it'd fly off the shelves. Being a tight-ars* Yorkshire bloke, I was loathe to pay the price, but now I have it, I do find it extremely useful. I suppose you could 'Blue-Peter' one up with an old belt, some gaffer tape and one of your gran's plastic teacups, but it won't be the same. On reflection, my home-office is a graveyard of unused, photographic/camera tat that I've wasted money on over the years, so I can somehow justify the cost for this, as unlike all that junk, I will use this again. One thing though, make sure that you have the belt adjusted correctly 'cos this thing will leave a mark, just above your 'block and tackle', which will get your wife asking awkward questions when you get home from a shoot.

It takes the weight when static filming or just waiting for the next shot, excellent piece of kit.
