They are somewhat tight and hurt after long use

I got these neck gaiters for use when I walk my dogs around the neighborhood during the winter, so I can stay warm and keep my face covered. These stood out because they are multi layer, which makes them more viable for virus protection, and because other reviewers said they were warm.They are definitely warm but almost too warm. No matter how cold it is, I end up with my neck sweaty and my hair wet from being under. I definitely wouldn't recommend for any temps warmer than 35 F because it's just too thick for that, you'll sweat too much. If you're looking for something to keep you warm in colder temps than that, these will do for sure.They're also super tight. I have a pretty small face/head and it's hard to get these over my head. It definitely isn't possible to do without messing up your hair, if anyone was wondering. As a result, they lay pretty close on the neck, contributing to the sweat problem.They are comfortable and breathable for wearing over your mouth and nose. The tightness holds them in place well without slipping.

This is a fantastic product, very warm and comfortable EXCEPT that it's too small for me. I can see wearing this around my neck, or covering my head and neck if it either weren't too cold or I forgot other warm weather gear. I could even see wearing it as just a hat. I've tried all of these scenarios and as a hat, I think it's fine. Around my neck it's just a bit too small.I also think, if worn as a hat, it would be nice if there was a way to close off the other end of this item to minimize the cold coming in.For hat size, I know I wear a 7 1/8". For the neck issue, I think my neck measures about 17". If you're neck is smaller, I think this would be a great product for you!

Bought these to help keep warm while walking and running in cooler temperatures, and for walking, they're perfect. (They tend to collect a little too much moisture from my breathing when I run, which is less than ideal.) These were a little bit long for me, and all the fabric bunched up at my neck felt a little restricting, so I ended up trimming them down so they were a more reasonable size.

This is a very functional neck scarf, and the fact that you get two for the price is awesome too. It stays nice and warm even in sub-freezing temperatures, but is not overly hot on warm(er) days. I snowboard, and this scarf will stay soft and dry on the inside even when the outside is covered in snow or ice (several other brands I've tried will soak through or ice up). It's worth noting that your breathing is slightly hindered when this scarf is over your nose/mouth, but that is a pretty universal issue with neck scarves. 4/5 stars only because this thing is excessively long, like 18"...

This 73 year old experienced shortness of breath and chest pains when walking my dog in the cold morning.After the ER found me in pretty good shape I guessed it was the cold, dry Colorado air that was the problem.I had no idea what these were called (still don't) but the fleece neck warmer/ neck gaiter face scarf was exactly what I wanted. I've used it 95% of the mornings thus far....can Spring be far behind?My breath is warmed and moistened and no more chest pains, no more shortness of breath! (This is NOT medical advice....I went directly to the ER but this seems to be my solution so I have bought another one to rotate through the laundry. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I'm gonna keep this short and simple:Pros:- WarmCons:- Too long, there is too much material that builds up around my neck and chokes me, I find it difficult to breath.I might try cutting these in half and see how it works.

These work well as COVID-19 masks, but they are too warm to wear when the air is calm and the temperature is above 55 degrees. They are intended to be winter ski gaiters, so that's not a mark against them--just an FYI. I will be wearing them for warmth when cold weather returns (and for COVID-19 if that's still necessary).The colors are what I expected. I like them both.
