Waaaayyyy better than the paint by number sets offered in the big HL craft stores.It’s laminated canvas instead of cardboard for one thing, and it comes with 28 separate colors for another. No paint mixing required to get the desired shade (so no wasted paint). The paints are also nice and thick so they cover the numbers and borders (my lightest shades needed a few coats though to cover the numbers). It also comes with 3 appropriately sized paintbrushes. You’ll still need a 4th, larger brush for the massive background though.As a bonus - it comes with 2 screws and two hanging triangles. Completely useless without a frame to screw them into, but I guess they are assuming you are creative and will come up with something besides a pre made, store bought frame. So thanks for that.Btw, it’s an acrylic set replicating the water color design in the pic. LOTS of micro detail —— NOT FOR KIDS.Just added a photo of my progress so far, painted by a real person after a few sessions. It will take months to finish.

Loved this project! Quality is fantastic but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s for beginners! The spaces are soooo tiny & it took me FOREVER! But it turned out beautiful & my little niece is obsessed. I did have to buy my own pain for the background as there was nowhere near enough, & I’d definitely recommend buying better brushes especially for the small spaces. Overall great product!

This is a great gift for the price. It takes a long time, but not too difficult so it keeps her coming back. It's beautiful, just hard enough. My daughter is 9. I would definitely buy this as a birthday present or gift. Great purchase

Important to note that the canvas is not mounted or on a stretcher. Many paint by numbers products come on a canvas board. This is loose canvas an needs to be mounted. Not a big deal for me but may be a consideration should a buyer not have the tools to mount / stretch the canvas

Bought this to make as a gift. Definitely not for beginners. The numbers are so tiny I had to get a magnifying glass to see. But enjoyable.

We got this my daughter for Christmas! She loves arts and crafts.I will say I didn’t think it was going to be as big as it was lol Maybe I did not read the Measurements . But still made it that much more worth it .The numbers we very clear to read.But a Lot of smalllll areas to paint. So probably not the best for someone under 9.My daughter did end up painting more on her own terms when it came to the colors.She loved itAnd it kept her occupied for a few days

This does take a long time to finish . I don’t know how a child could paint this because I had a very hard time seeing a lot of the numbers. The finished product looks pretty nice except for the fold lines.
