These are a great dupe to the original, but they are thinner in comparison; they are as thin as the paper they use for the bibles. For school, I have some books that have thin pages, and they stick very nicely to them. They are pretty adhesive to stick, but also very gentle that it doesn't rip the pages. I used a super fine permanent marker/pen to write on these tabs, that worked perfectly. I also tried a Pilot G-2 Gel pen, but that smeared a little, maybe it needed more time to dry? The adhesive, bottom portion, is a touch opaque, they are not completely clear like some tabs. The colors are just as vibrant, like the picture shows, and are a perfect match to Post-It tabs. For the considerable savings, these are well worth the money and work great! I recommend them.
