Sound Waves and Smiles: How the Professional Stereo Audio Meter Elevated My Studio Experience
I recently purchased the Professional Stereo Audio Meter, and it has completely transformed my mixing and mastering workflow. The 7" high-resolution LCD display provides unparalleled precision in all studio environments, making it a game-changer for audio professionals like myself. The USB connection for VST, Audio Units, and AAX plug-in metering is a dream come true, offering hassle-free integration with my existing setup. The Stereo 96 kHz AES3 digital audio on 75 Ohm BNC connectors ensures broadcast-grade metering, delivering exceptional clarity and accuracy. The metering toolbox is truly comprehensive, allowing me to diagnose every aspect of my mix, from phase and frequency distribution to loudness and clipping. The Vectorscope and real-time analyzer with 1/3 octave resolution provide in-depth insights for precise adjustments. I particularly appreciate the Balance-O-Meter for quick Left-Right and Mid-Side balance checks, while the correlation meter warns me about potential phase problems. The scalable true peak meter is a standout feature, identifying clipping in DACs, CODECs, and downstream filters. The inclusion of the legendary LM6 loudness radar meter, along with detailed statistics overview and compliance with major broadcast standards, showcases the product's commitment to professional audio standards. The provision for a custom logo on the LCD display adds a personal touch. In summary, the Professional Stereo Audio Meter is a must-have for any serious audio engineer or producer. Its exceptional features, precision, and versatility make it an invaluable tool for achieving top-notch results in mixing, mastering, and post-production.

Precision real time sound monitoring
I have 2 of these for my analog mastering studio and they are great. I use them to compare signal coming out of the DAW and then after analog processing coming back in the converters. Fast real time display that can be customized for different loudness metrics and frequency. Able to use RAM mounts to hook it to the desk. Only wish is more options on LUFS to have shorter monitoring time as it shows last 10 seconds and overall program

Once you have this, you will never go without it again!
Wow, what a cool unit, in a glance you can see exactly what frequency is overdriven in your mix, and also see a minute by minute overload of stereo channels, many different option settings for the three main screens. The unit is all digital so is crystal clear and the perfect size for any studio. I checked this unit out on Youtube before buying it and it is in every studio, it's almost as popular as Yamaha NS10's. I am feeding this unit from a Tascam da 3000 recorder and the Clarity M includes the stereo digital xlr adapter right in the box. I had it running in less than 10 minutes.

This is one of the best things I have purchased for my very expensive hobby of bedroom (dining room, to be precise) producing. My wife has commented that it is an early midlife crisis; I don't drive and have zero interest in cars, and my whole set up is a surrogate for buying a Porsche. The Clarity M is built like a tank, with a metal enclosure, plenty of input options, and a nice, crisp display. TC Electronic have put a lot of effort in the firmware, and gives you a lot to work with: frequency analisys, loudness metering, stereo merering, etc. Which can all be customised in some way to fit your workflow the best. I have it currently plugged in over USB, and use their plugin to integrate it into my DAW, but I also have it connected to my mixer, which sadly doesn't have AES or S/PIDF outputs, and which my sound interface doesn't either, so I'm currently using a cheap ADC - I'm pretty sure I can do this less jankily, but it works well and it isn't difficult to switch between inputs. Though the included stand is completely acceptable, I just don't have the table space for it, and I don't like the mounting option (ram mount?) as this would become increasingly expensive and tricky to source. I have instead an inexpensive tablet stand, which just about carries the Clarity M's weight (because of the metal enclosure, the Clarity M is heavy). All this said, this device is a luxury item: you could get equal - maybe even better - results with software: buy a cheap monitor and use it solely to show SPAN or your analyser of choice. But, if you have hardware synths, and don't always want or need to switch on your computer, this is fantastic.
