Good plywood for laser projects
This was the 2nd batch of this plywood I have purchased from this vendor. I use it to make projects on my laser such as engraved coasters, Christmas ornaments, and wooden boxes. The plywood is consistent in it's appearance and in how the laser cuts it. There has been some minor bowing of the sheets, but I make sure to store it flat with weight on it and also cut it to 8x12 pieces to fit into my laser. Will definitely buy again.

High quality birch ply
Arrived in excellent condition and bundled so the ply stays flat. Excellent quality wood and perfect for laser/CNC/cutting-engraving projects.

Nice surface, but not dependable.
This is nice quality, not warped and it cuts nicely when it cuts. It’s not as predictable as Woodpeckers. I wouldn’t do small or delicate laser work on this. But at $30 less, I’ll be back.

Cheap for a Reason
I've been purchasing this material for a while now because it is cheaper than another material I use for higher end items I make. I primarily used this material for simple plain cutouts on my laser. However, I have found that with one good sheet you always have 2 or 3 bad sheets. Yes, a portion of the sheet might be good and cut through flawlessly, but there's always a spot or spots where the material has bad glue ups or something to make the material burn but not cut through. When trying to clean it up, the material will always break or splinter on the back to where I don't want to send the final product to the customer. So with that, I end up using 3 sheets to make the one item. The higher cost material is about $6 a sheet when this material ended up being about $3.50 a sheet after taxes. However, I am getting off much cheaper using the higher material because it cuts through cleanly every time. The laser I'm using is not your little 5-20 watt laser either. I have a large 130 watt laser that can cut through a sheet of 3/4" if needed. I will keep the remaining material and use it for smaller items and hope that I hit a good spot on the material. However, from now on, I think I'm going to be cutting the more expensive material. Time is money, and this material has been wasting my time. And with the multiple sheets being used to do a one sheet job, the material itself has wasted my money. If you want a cheaper material that you have to fight with, this is perfect for you. If you value your dollar and time, this is not for you. Don't be afraid to spend a little more on better stuff, because in the end, you saved on the time and material.

Pricey for what you get, but the best option for my needs.
OK, I wanted these for building a doll house for my granddaughter, and some furniture for it, too.Pros:* Best price per square foot I saw, without getting into mega-orders.* Very nice finish on all but one of the boards I got. (1 had a bit of a chippy edge from the saw).* At least one side of each board was pristine. Some were great on both sides.* Good thickness for the furniture, not so great for walls.* Turned out to be a pretty good size for the 1:12 doll house, so didn't need to cut much.* I taped all cuts first, so it didn't rip up the edges from the saw. That worked pretty well.* Mine laid pretty flat, until I painted them, then the warping began.Cons:* Obnoxiously expensive. Unfortunately, these were the best price I found per sq ft.* Super dry. Just drank in the paint, until I could barely tell it was painted. Warped, too.* Not super strong for walls. Fine for furniture, but I wouldn't use it again for walls. Needed too much reinforcement, especially to compensate for warpage.Overall, Price is prohibitive, but great for small pieces like furniture - just be sure to tape your edges, as you cut, unless you've got some sort of laser cutter. Full size Saw blades will rip it up, and fine tooth dremmel blades don't make much of a dent in it (at least mine didn't).

Balsa wood sheets. Great value. High quality product.
I used this as a front panel for a cabinet door to add interest and design. The wood is sturdy, not warped, it's not bent or curved when you get it, yet it's very thin. It's smooth, so you don't have to sand it, and cut precisely. We had to cut it to size though so it would fit my design, and it cut smoothly, not chipping, no splintering. It looks beautiful.Excellent quality product, high quality, very economical price.

Good for hobby laser-ing!
It looks decent.I'm using this wood for small craft projects with my hobby CNC router / laser machine. At first, I was a little disappointed because I thought my laser (2.5mW 445nm diode) couldn't cut through it. After a LOT of experimentation, I finally found some settings that work (20 passes @ 100% power, 400mm feed rate, with some Z-index stepping).Using the router, it's a little trickier, since it is easy to chip the finish surface of the plywood. Still, it works plenty well for my purposes!
