I was surprised to see so many low reviews. I bough mine over a year ago and although, I don't remember what the description read at the time I can only speak for the item I've been using over the last year. I absolutely love this ice bucket. I did knock off one star because when I pulled it out last weekend, the handle pulled came apart from the bucket! The handle is secured by a screw on each side that over time got loose and eventually fell right off without me know it until last weekend. I decided to remove the handle all together since I couldn't find the lost screw but I still love this little ice bucket!

Purchased this item to add to my newly finished dry bar. The Bucket is much smaller than I expected (my fault). The reason for two star rating is that I did not receive the tongs that were stated came with the bucket. The bucket itself seem to very solid and keeps ice very cold, I am sure the solid lid (vs the clear plastic on others) helps with this alot. IF I had received the tongs I would have rated this 5 stars.If you're looking for a small ice bucket that will stay cold and you do not mind purchasing your own tongs, this is the bucket for you.

I was very happy with this little ice bucket! It's really not too "little," either. It's just the right size for hosting parties and for easy storage in kitchen cabinets. It reminds me of some of the older stainless steel ice buckets that were priceless...you know...like the ones your grandparents used or the ones you might be lucky to find at garage sales. I've been searching for a reliable double-walled stainless steel ice bucket for ages, and they are so hard to find in most stores! These days the buckets are made from glass or plastics, and ice melts very quickly! The steel buckets are usually very expensive and designed to accommodate champagne bottles. This ice bucket is awesome and the price is perfect!

Nice small size for my tiny ice cubes. Doesn't take up a ton of space on my bar cart and keeps ice cold longer than just a bowl. Handle popped lose within minutes . Party guest fixed it before I could make him a drink. Not high quality but it's affordable and great for occasional use.

First let me say I haven't actually used the ice bucket yet so I can't comment on how well it keeps ice cold. What I can comment on it the top not fitting well and the tongs do not fit it in with the top closed for easy storage. Not a deal breaker as far as the tongs not fitting but I don't want to loose them either.

Definitely returning this because it’s so tiny! I suppose it does hold two quarts of water, but very little in the way of ice cubes. Too small for my needs.

This is definitely a get what you pay for item. The packaging itself is a dead giveaway that it was made and packed in poor conditions with very little quality assurance if any at all. The container is small and had black soot marks inside and out. The lid had a small dent in it and the rubber seal is not even glued on the lid. The metal band/handle is not even machined on the sides so its pretty darn sharp, so is the lid.I venture to guess that the "stainless steel" is of very low grade and is doubtful that it would last at all without rusting... we'll see I guess.
