Puzzle pieces not precisely unique
Puzzles pieces are basically only two shapes. Therefore, their differences are slight to non existent. You can easily put a wrong piece in a slot. For the large expanses of water and sky in this puzzle I had to resort to using the back of the grid to get the pieces in their proper place (and even then I made a couple of errors). I love 1,000 piece puzzles and do them frequently. But I would not recommend this one (even though it was a beautiful photo) as it was very frustrating to complete. And it had a extra piece...which means some other puzzle is probably missing one.

Not that much fun!
This is a great looking puzzle but the pieces are very similar in shape and are very difficult to place correctly. In the end we just forced pieces in spaces of like-color and the end result looked acceptable - but it was not a 'fun' puzzle to do.
