Broadway Vita-Lip Clear Lip Gloss 0.47oz/14ml (Mint & Rosehip)

This lip gloss is really something. See, I'm not into all the crazy makeup, I don't use lipstick and I don't care for all the fancy three toned, five-lip- product looks. But I do have to be constantly putting something on my lips because I am prone to very dry, chapped lips that flake and burn if not taken care of. The sun does my sensitive lips no favors, either. I am forever reapplying chapstick throughout the day to keep my lips hydrated, and the chapstick only lasts on my lips so long. In my search for a new lip balm, I came across this Broadway Vita-Lip clear lip gloss and wondered what it was all about.The one thing I have always liked in the makeup department is simple shiny lip gloss, so the fact that this doubles as a healing lip balm is a major plus. It is pretty sticky right out of the tube, so squeeze the tube lightly and get just a small dollop on the applicator and work it onto your lips a little at a time. It's easy to apply and goes on smoothly, just be careful not to glob it on. This is one of the better lip balms and best lip glosses I have tried. It stays on my lips for a long time, eventually setting in a bit and keeping my lips well moisturized. It will rub off a bit when eating or drinking, of course, but I don't have the urge to constantly lick my lips with this as I do with regular lip balms or chapstick, so I find it works better.I decided to try this brand for the ingredients. This set of two comes in "flavors" of mint oil and rosehip oil. Reading on the back label, it says they contain "synthetic jojoba oil", which I'm not too certain about. I use jojoba oil all the time and love it's properties, so I am a little disappointed they included a synthetic ingredient. But these are at a great price and very, very affordable, so I can't really complain. The rosehip lip gloss does seem to contain real rosehip oil and smells like an actual rosebud, which is very pleasing, but has no flavor. That's not a big deal to me as the lip gloss makes up for it by feeling great on my lips. The mint oil one is a little disappointing because it doesn't have whole lot of minty tingle or flavor. My favorite lip balms are the ones with real mint in it, they make my lips feel so good with that icy minty-ness. So, not feeling the "refreshing tingle" it says on the tube. It is barely there, at least for me, so for those who may not like that toothpaste feel don't have to worry with this one.All in all, I love these lip glosses. They have vitamin A and a couple real oils in them that work absolutely wonderful for poor, parched lips like mine. The moisturizing and healing effects are A++. They don't add any color, but have a very nice shine. The initial stickiness goes away once it starts settling into your lips. No flavor to speak of, but I love the smell of the rosehip oil. I will definitely order them again.(I only took one picture of one tube, but this is a set of two.)

I absolutely love these lip glosses! Super glossy and super moisturizing. They’re not sticky on your lips but sticky when you try and wipe it off. That’s what lip gloss does though so no concern at all. The rose scent is delicate and the mint feels a bit plumping. I highly recommend!!

this is the best lipgloss I have ever tried the glossiness is the best I have ever seen and it last a long time it's not too sticky and my long hair does not get stuck in it this is a must-have gloss

It’s very glossy, BUT, has a tendency to leak. So don’t put it in a nice purse pocket, wrap these babies in a plastic baggie, then put it in your NICE purse. if you want it with you, because I learned the hard way. Peace & Love y’all!

My lips feel so good. The moisture and shine is incredible. It very rich so you don’t have to worry about it running down you chin lol. The rosehip is my favorite.

these are both super cute and great for the price! i didn’t like the scent on the rose one but that’s just personal preference, and i appreciate how it isn’t super scented to the point where you smell it while wearing it

I love the minty flavor of the mint one. The flavor is pretty strong, but I like it strong. The rosehip is also nice, it's much milder. This gloss works well, and stays for awhile, which is great! However, this worked against me, the lid wasn't open (maybe loose?) but it leaked a bit and there was residue all over stuff in my purse and there's still some stuff with that oily residue months later. So be careful storing it! Another thing I didn't like is that the consistency is extremely thick, which made itmore difficult to apply. It's not really a good gloss to apply over lipstick since it is so thick.
