This is a very nice product. Easy to use. Good quality. The stainless racks are great. Perfect for fruits and vegetables. I have tried to use it for chicken , beef and deer jerky but I cannot get it to run hot enough. If you are buying this for jerky be careful. Fruits and vegetables is gets a double thumbs up.

It’s not loud by any means, but it sounds like a microwave oven running more or less. That doesn’t really bother me. It doesn’t get super hot for my uses, which I appreciate. It also comes with all the silicone mats! That’s super. If you have used these before, you will know that despite how it looks; it’s much better to have a sliding panel door than a hinged door like an oven. So this is perfect. I use it to help dry out tobacco leaves after I’ve cured them and flavored them for aromatic pipe tobaccos and cigars.

We are still learning to use it. So far it has worked as advertised. Not as easy as it sounds. We are learning that you can't rush the process.

It's fine as a dehydrator (if expensive). But it's beeping every time you push a button to set temperature or time, and when it's done dehydrating, is INCREDIBLY LOUD AND ANNOYING!!!

Works fine, easy access. But I wish it didn't turn itself off after 12 hours. My old one just ran until I told it to stop, and I preferred that. I assume it's a safety issue, but it makes my life more complicated, not less.

Samson dehydrator is silent as advertised. Stainless steel racks and mesh sheets good for my needs. Dried zucchini perfectly. Will get a lot of use out of this dehydrator. The digital timer could be better. Overall, a good machine

we love this dehydrator. We have been using it since we bought it. Easy to use and cleans up great.Would recommend to everyone.

I am new to dehydrating and got this to dehydrate nuts and seeds. I didn't understand all the "ins and outs" when purchasing this and found out the hard way that this cannot be adjusted to an exact temperature but only allows for certain temperature pre-settings.For example, I needed to dehydrate macadamia nuts at 115° but the machine only allowed 113°or 122° and nothing in between. It took 26+ hours at the 113° for them to dry! Not only that, but apparently you have to turn the machine off for 2 hours after 22 hours so it won't overheat, so it won't even go a full 24 hours!What are you supposed to do during the two hours in between? Plus, there is no light inside which I think would be quite helpful.I did appreciate the stainless steel trays and also all the plastic trays that was great, however, it seems flimsy and not well insulated.I do not recommend this.
