Amazing for loose leaf tea! I just scoop the tea with the bottom & then place it in the pot itself. If I'm making more than one cup then I put tea in the top & bottom half. I have had no problems & I think it allows the water through just fine. You do have to move it around or "dunk" it as some people have complained but I am not sure how else you expect the water to move without agitation.

I love it! It's so much nicer and easier to use than that old ball with the clip and chain I used to use.

I love the color of my tea infuser, it is light blue. The infuser itself is composed of a stainless steel basket attached to a silicone decorative leaf. The leaf pops in gently to the steel strainer, and comes with a handy resting tray. That's right, no more tea marks on your coffee table.The infuser is easy to put together and I love the way this looks bobbing in my tea cup! It can stay in my cup for any amount of time, it gives off such a rich tea flavor. Perfect to use during the cold winter months. This is way easier than brewing tea in a pot.
