awesome, the BEST quality saucepan on the market
Was skeptical buying at first, after disappointing purchasing of nonstick pans in the past. All were either cheap quality, lose handles, or warped after second use, including Scan Pans! Today I tried the Swiss diamond 3.2 saucepan (nonstick) for the first time. Results after making lemon rice pudding from scratch, awesome, the BEST quality saucepan on the market! No hotspots, scorch corners, and absolutely no sticking! And cleaning of the pan was a breeze.

Great Preformer
Best of all the easy clean non-stick pots we have ever had. Others chipped and the finish deteriorated prematurely and had to be returned to the manufacturer. The Swiss Diamond preforms flawlessly and looks like new after more than 6 months of use nearly every night. Good heat distribution, food browns and carmelizes nicely too. Handle is never hot to the touch. Clean-up is a snap, warm Soapy water and a Dobie non-scratching pad work great. The glass lid is just what is needed to see what is going on inside. Lid has an easy to operate rotating vent incorporated into the lid knob for letting out steam and moisture. We have 2 Swiss pots now and will buy again as our other brand of pots age.

Really good pans.
This is the 5th Swiss Diamond pan that we have bought. All are a pleasure to cook with and clean up. I found this saucepan to be especially good for rice. Jasmine rice with all it's stickiness cleans up easily. My old ceramic pan needs soaking to clean up Jasmine. The thick base of these pans spreads the heat evenly. We have gas burners and they can create hot spots. But this is not noticeable with these pans. They are pricey but worth it.

Must Have
After many years (10+) I finally retired my first purchase of this pan. It was such a trusty workhorse that I bought another, so you know it's good. It's my favorite rice pan (or quinoa), which is probably the most frequent application in my kitchen. Only rubber spoons and spatulas, and it lasted years for me. I have other metal pans for boiling vegetables and rougher use, but for easy grain cooking, this is a gem.

Best pots around
Ive owned a set from 10 years ago, finish just has finally worn off. They last, are durable, as long as you dont use a scratch pad on them. They clean very easy and they last longer than 2 years. Bottom heating surface has a grey protectant that will wash off after a few uses, this is only on very bottom of pan in direct contact with heat. Very nice pan.

Fantastic cookware, I love it!
I have been disappointed in the past with pricey cookware that doesn't go the distance, so decided to try them out one at a time to find a good brand. My search is over as this saucepan is not even in the same league as some of the other brands I have bought, including Cuisinart. The pan cleans like a dream...the food just floats out with soapy water. I am going to replace all of my pots and pans with this brand. Worth every penny....you'll actually save in the long run by buying a quality product like this one that will be your work-horse for years to come.

Not as non stick as my other Swiss Diamond products.
We have 3 Swiss Diamond fry pans which are wonderfully nonstick. This sauce pan doesn't seem quite as good. Heated up tomato soup and other items have stuck to the sides and had to be scrubbed to remove all of it. A little disappointed since I paid a premium price just for the non stick quality.

Confessions of a pot-destroyer
I destroy cooking pots. I'm especially lethal to the light-weight teflon lined variety you'll find at the supermarket. My secret is simple: I like to cook on high heat and I get easily distracted. That guarantees that I'll forget what's on the stove and produce a scorched (and warped) utensil. If a lightweight teflon pot lasts me two years, it's extraordinarily lucky.I now own four (different) Swiss Diamond pots. And even my brutal habits leave them unimpressed. Despite regular disasters, they seem to shrug off what would vanquish a lesser pot. (Admittedly, I do avoid metal spoons and spatulas and clean them with non-abrasive means.) They have excellent non-stick characteristics, superb heat-spreading, and -- love it -- are approved for very hot oven use. Adding up to ESSENTIAL cooking tools! And when you factor the price of regularly replacing "cheaper" pots, their cost becomes more than bearable.HIGHLY recommended!

Great pot!
I'm not a super fan of nonstick pans, but this one has been good. Just be careful and use plastic tools with it, and it'll last a long time.

Is it dangerous to continue using the pot even though the bottom of the pot is rough?
The inside, bottom of this pot is rough. I use this pot for normal cooking chores such as making porridge, inserting a non-metallic steamer to steam vegetables, boiling water for cooking spaghetti etc. I have the same make but a larger size of this pot, and use it for the same cooking chores, and this pot does not have this problem.

prodotto valido

Makes my life easier ...
No-one can really like washing up, but these pans are a dream to wash! They are so non-stick and therefore so easy to wash up. I also like the lids because you can adjust the knob to keep steam in the pan, or release it as required. Use over a medium heat, lid on and steam trapped inside and the contents will reach the required cooking temperature in the same time as other pans on a high heat, which don't have the option of trapping steam, so you use less fuel.

This is, without any doubt, the best non-stick saucepan that I have ever owned. It is superbly made and so easy to clean.Paolo Aglio
