No instructions, needed other parts for it to get power on all four cameras.Time consuming.

I’ve a race car with several blind spots. And, it’s difficult to turn your head when strapped in. So, we decided to try this camera system. The adhesive strips that come on two of the cameras do not hold at all. I bought some aftermarket adhesive. No directions for wiring come with this product. I do have auto / electrical knowledge and was able to figure it out. The picture is clear but on the screen, images have a mirror effect which take some getting used to (everything is backwards). Seems good quality and tuff material. We’ll see how it does over time.

Very vague instructions for hook up, and no clear instructions on how to get help to do so

It seems misleading for Amazon to offer 24/7 phone and/or chat help when that help just consists of sending the customer on to the actual seller. Your statement of help implies that you can contact Amazon and they will help you right then. The seller may not respond for days and it is via email so installation help of electronic items (mine was a 4 camera back-up system for a SUV/travel trailer application) is pretty impossible. In addition the product we ordered came with ZERO, literally, installation instructions. The only paperwork in the box was one 6"x8" sheet that said it was operating instructions but was, in fact, the same description of the product that was on Amazon only not even as detailed as that. Hopefully we can install this.An addendum to above review... We finally figured out to install this product. What we wanted was a back up camera on the rear top of our trailer with the screen in the car serving as a rear view mirror so we could see behind the trailer to be able to know when it was safe to change lanes. We wired the camera directly to our fuse box in the car so that the grid lines stay on all the time while we are traveling down the road in Drive, and also when we are backing. For this purpose and our wiring adaptation, the one camera on the top back center of the trailer worked perfectly. In addition, while parked at our house we set an easy to see obstacle in the road that appeared on the in-car-screen at the various colored grid lines. Then we measured the distance from the back of the trailer to the obstacle in the road and made a note that the green line represented 20' from the trailer, the yellow line 17' and the red line 15'. That allowed us to know that a car, even in an adjoining lane, was far enough back from us for safe lane changes. We ran the wires through the car and had an attachment point just inside the back doors of our suburban. We color coded them so it was really easy to plug or unplug them when the trailer was not attached. We found the side cameras useless and unnecessary so took them down. We planned to hookup the 4th "forward" camera on the back of the vehicle so one person could hook up the trailer to the hitch but we are going to wait as it is likely we will get another car. I have to say that though the instructions were pretty useless, an Amazon helper was able to explain enough of the set up to my SIL that he could do it and he figured out the fuse box wiring, which made the camera really useful. Also, when the company heard we found the side cameras useless, they refunded our purchase by $20.00, without our asking.So, I would say that if you have some wiring knowledge this would be a reasonable purchase. The picture was clear on the screen except in the rain. The grid lines were nice & clear on the screen. We figured out the menu settings so we did not end up w a mirror image but rather the image like you would get in an actual rear view mirror. Additionally, the grid lines made it easy to see that our trailer was traveling in the lane centered or not, making it easy to have it stay on our side of the road! I was amazed that the suction cup held the screen up on our windshield for the entire 5,000 miles across the country! The back camera we put on the trailer was on an adjustable swivel so you could set it to make the grid lines show up at whatever distance you want from the back of your car or trailer. We actually scraped a very high branch on the backing into a campsite which then unplugged the back trailer camera but once we got on a ladder & plugged it back in, we found that the adjustment we set was firm enough that it stayed where we had aimed it in the beginning. We needed more wire (cheap and easily available) and some extra RCA jacks (also easy to find and cheap) to do all the modifications we wanted. The run from the top of the back of our trailer down and then along the under carriage of the trailer and then to the front of the inside of our car is about 50'.

Installed on RV. Power is 12VDC Monitor has 4 Line level inputs, You can select diff combinations of view.The 2 little bullet cameras work great. The surface mount side cameras are not so good. One failed after 6 mos after installation. Water damaged. Great kit for the price. Low Res.

This camaras are amazing

Instructions and parts missing to mount the cameras. Had replacement package sent to me, same issue. Picture looked good, but it's just collecting dust in the closet.

It was not easy to install. There were no installation instructions what so ever. I had to guess which wires to plug in and after 3 attempts I finally managed to plug everything in to the correct places. The only thing easy was that the video cables were Yellow and the power cables were black and red.

The cameras are ok but the monitor is garbage. Worked great for a few hours then started cutting out.I went through the trouble of wiring the 4 cameras up hoping this would be solid no interference solution but the monitor is the down fall.Couldn't get warranty on only the monitor and way to much work to Uninstaller everything to return for a full refund.
