Time to order another one
I bought mine almost 3 years ago in Aug. I put it on the carpet in my apartment, at my desk to prevent wear to the carpet from the wheels on my chair. It's not suppose to be used with pile carpet but I rolled the dice because of the price. It flexes a little at each wheel but that's been ok, I'm at my computer daily for long hours and it has held up nicely. It has finally started to have mini cracks and fractures and is breaking down from a lot use. So, for me, it did very well for the price. Time to order another one, so I recommend.

Good Mat That Holds Up for a Long Time
I bought my mat well over 4 years ago. I use it daily and work from home most days. I am also a bit of a fidgeter and like to roll back and forth a lot just because I can. It held up very well. It started showing some cracks after maybe 3 years but they didn't go all the way across to a side until after about 4 years. For the heavy use I got from it, it held up admirably and for as long as I think one could expect it to. I also just bought another one to replace my old one.

Good Value for Price
bought this for my son's in home dorm room, to protect the carpet from the chair. it arrived quickly packaged well, however it was rolled in a box, no big deal until you went to lay it on the floor, it kept rolling up, hard plastic with the little spikes on the back so not the easiest to work with, but we finally got it to lay flat and placed some items with weight on the floor and left it like that for about 3 days and then it was good to go in the desk area. Does not roll up, stays down, doesnt move around (its on carpet) nice sized to accomidate a desk chair. its clear and not cloudy looking so you can see the carpet color underneith it as well. Aside from having to get it lay flat its a great purchase exactly what we needed and works great. Just need some patience at first.

Don’t waste your money!
This is a terrible mat. I have low pile carpet and this does not have the strength to support the wheels on a chair of 150 pound woman. You’ll wrench your back trying to move. Don’t waste your money!

it's too soft
So it ships rolled up, it's a tough plastic with the rug spikes on the bottom and flat on top. That makes it hard to unroll and to get it to lay flat. It says you can put it under hot shower water to see if it flattens easier but i didn't try that. I just had the kids stand on one edge while i unrolled it. It wasn't that easy but once i got it sort of flat, i kept bending it the opposite way to keep it from rolling up again. So overall, the unrolling wasn't fun. After that i had the kids put their gaming chairs on them and you can't roll around smoothly on it because the plastic although hard pliable wise, it's soft when the wheels press down into it making it hard to really roll around on it. I guess depends on the type of chair wheels, but the kids game chairs that had like these split wheels did not roll well. So overall, it works but i dont think i can recommend it, i'd look for one that's harder plastic.

office chair mat
It is a very good mat, but very stiff to unroll , like other buyers said, needed some effort. However, I managed to do it with some help. First I showered it with hot water, couldn't put it in the tub because of the length. so shower was the only way to soften it up and get it unrolled. It worked. Now it is perfectly placed under my chair.

A good asset for my office
The mat works great over my office carpet and under my chair. Some help was needed to unroll the tightly packaged mat but once it lay out a few days, weighted down and also with some help from a hair dryer, the mat was good to go into the office. The chair rolls over it just fine too.

We'll see how this one holds up. Hmmmm
I purchased the same floor mat about 3 years ago and it held up only that long. Eventually all mats I've had will begin cracking where the chair legs sit every day when sitting at the computer. So, I purchased the same one - of course it costs more now - and when I got it, it was a chore to unroll and flatten. I think the shipping box dimension was smaller, so they rolled it tighter than the last time. Once I had it rolled out, I placed a large/heavy rug on top with heavy books to flatten it. That was almost 1 month ago. It still has ripples in it and does not lay flat. And also I noticed there is a possibility that the thickness is ever so slightly thinner. I'll keep it but not happy.UPDATE: May 14. 2023 - It's been about 2-1/2 months now since I received this mat and I took some photos to show how the ripples are still in there. I think there is a possibility the manufacturer rolled this mat while it was still too warm and there is now a rolled "memory" in the mat. Still keeping it, still not happy with my purchase.
