One of the best Hitches - I am using it since 2016, and it looks like new, well-built, and no issues
I use this hitch to tow a travel trailer - the height adjustment has allowed me to make sure the trailer is level with the tow vehicle, and that feels a lot more stable for towing. The hitch is well-built - since 2016, minor scratches on the ball, and otherwise it looks brand new and shiny. The lock gives me peace of mind that it wont be stolen.

well built and funtional
Bought this for my new 4X4. I have two different trailers that require different tow drop ranges. One of them is a 6X12 enclosed that can require me to raise the hitch a additional inch if I have to load it heavy in the front. This product is very well built and I like the keyed the same locks that come with it. NOTE: BE AWARE, THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED TO A 3" DROP AND 3" RISE. This assembly will provide 3,4,5& 6" drops and the same rises. It has four holes for position adjustments. If you have a two wheel drive this product may not work that well as when I had my two wheel drive my utility trailer required a 2" drop and on the 4X4 the same trailer takes a 5" drop. And this will not do a 2" drop. Over all a very nice set up.

Looks Great
Had this in the Amazon cart for a long time. I have 2 different receiver bars...1 with a 2" and one with a 2 5/16. Easy enough to change them out when necessary but they aren't adjustable and since the balls aren't stainless, they rust. The Trimax looks awesome, won't rust, is adjustable up and down. It has both size balls that I use and I can flip them in a mtter of seconds. Secures both at the reciever and the ball with the same key. Love it, glad I spent the extra dollars.

This is a fine piece of work
This is a fine piece of work...I have a Mazda CX9 Grand Touring and needed a higher ball height in order to level out my dual axle bass boat trailer, so I mounted it "upside down" (it mounts either way) and have full adjustment and my trailer is exactly the height it needs to be now. It would be virtually impossible for anyone to steal the hitch with the locking system it has. Excellent machining/design. Highly recommended if you need a hitch that has adjustable heights for various loads/trailers.

Great hitch, unless you own a Chrysler product
Bought for a 2019 Ram and I tell you it's one beautiful hitch. I wish I could have kept it. Unfortunately my fear that my Ram hitch would rattle like my Jeep hitch was true. I had to return it as I can't deal with the rattling. If you have another brand of vehicle I would recommend this 100%.

Worth the price, it's well made and also looks good on my SUV.

Totally rockin!
Seems extremely sturdy and heavy duty compared to a normal 5k lb hitch. Looks amazing! Wish it had a rubber cap to fill the holes on the balls but other than that extremely satisfied.

Love it and hate it. Read the directions. My ball literally fell off after a few hundred miles use.
Love it and hate it. Ball literally fell off after a few hundred miles of use. Called Trimax. They said I didn't read the directions and put the lock nut on the wrong side (2 5/16' shank side, instead of under 2" female side). Also said I probably didn't torque it properly. I'm 45+ years old and have been running trailers since I was 16 years old. You should have heard the groan I made. BUT, the guy was right, and there is a lip under the 2" side to hide the lock washer too. I sucked it up and bought a new ball....yep, one of the same proprietary, expensive ones. This time I put the lock nut under the 2' ball and cranked the poop out of it with two 3/4" breaker bars. Also supposed to check it every so many thousand miles. Needless to say, I'll be watching this thing like a hawk.On the bright side, I had my welder put a nice piece of box aluminum on the bottom of the hitch. It makes a wonderful step and looks really sharp. See photo. The main reason I gave it one star was to create awareness (I can't believe I just said "to create awareness") of the issue with the lock nut and checking the torque.

Solid Hitch
Came quickly. Looks as advertised and looks fantastic on my truck. Locks are a nice feature, added a bit of oil to help make them operate really smooth. I would purchase again.

This is a Good Hitch
This is a good trailer hitch receiver ball setup with a couple of minor modifications. First is to insure that the hitch balls are torqued to the required torque and use LOC-TITE on the threads. If you donβt have the proper torque wrench and 1/2β breaker bar then take it to a shop to have the hitch balls installed. Lubricate the locks... I used WD40 dri-lube. The hitch ball assembly has some play so I used two strips of gorilla tape on the back of the bar the hitch ball assembly slides on. Just used a small knife to cut an X through the tape over the cavity where the lock bar (pin) goes in. Reduces play and rattle of the ball assembly by 90% or more. Next use an anti rattle device on the complete assembly where it goes into the hitch receiver on the vehicle. Anti rattle devices start at about $10 and go up to expensive. Lower cost ones work well. When not towing a trailer remove it from the vehicle hitch receiver. This will keep it looking new and reduce any corrosion. NOTE... ALL ADJUSTABLE HITCH BALL ASSEMBLIES RATTLE.This is a very good hitch ball assembly. I just did a couple of minor mods and itβs a great. Donβt listen to the nay-sayers.

Looks good, works great but have ball wear showing up on my first car trailer use!
Heavy duty build for coupler and receiver. Ball mount and securing is okay but I've had the chrome finish wear off on the 2 5/16 ball after first use. Will be greasing it up moving forward to help prevent more wear.
