It is SO sharp. Cutting through chicken (frozen whole chicken) is so easy with this knife. I wouldn’t say the blade is thick but it’s not thin either. £16 for a boning knife is pretty good, I’d like to say. Especially from victorinox. If you’ve seen their bags then you know their prices are pretty high. That being said, all of the products have been worth the price tag.

One of the better investment that I made. I used to use chef knives to debone meats, while it was an okay job but having this kind of boning knife it’s just way easier. 3 months in, knife is still sharp.

I was just wanting to upgrade my kitchen knife set with something of a better quality, which would keep a good edge and sharpen well. I was prepared to pay well for something decent. But this make got really good reviews and weren't too expensive, so I took a chance. Very glad I did, as this is everything I wanted AND at a very fair price. Feels good in the hand, has a good weight and came razor sharp. Haven't had the need to sharpen since I got it but I'd be surprised if it doesn't take a good edge. A great kitchen knife!

Bought this knife specifically to break up whole chickens at home. It is definitely worth investing in a boning knife if you are not currently using one. The reviews we looked at before buying this one were good, and I agree that it does the job very well.
