It will clean you out but not in a bad way. Kinda makes you feel not as bloated.

Had these on hand in case i got a cold sore which i very rarely get and sure enough i had used a face peel pad with glycolic acid and the next day started getting that prickly feeling and a slight bump.These can bring on a out break i hear....Started taking 3 500mg 2 x a day for a total of 3,000 mg..The sore did open but healed within a few days and never got huge like in the past. Another great thing i noticed after taking a couple weeks my facial skin looks better,more even coloring and a bit plumper...I read they help with collagen production so i am continuing to take 3,000 mg daily on a empty stomach..At 69 yrs i can use all the help i can get!Now puts out quality supplements and i take several of theirs..One of the few company's i trust.

Pleased with this product used in conjunction with vitamin C for collagen building. The capsules are quite large, but if you swish them in liquid in your mouth first, making the gelcap slippery, they slide right down. Priced well; good value.

I have been using a different brand of lysine previously. This one is 500 mg vs my other that was 450mg. I was surprised how much bigger the 500 mg was than my old brand. It is not a deal breaker for me, but I wish it was a little smaller, although, I like that it has 50 more mg. See the picture, far left is this brand of lysine, right is old brand next to a penny for size. I use lysine when I get mouth sores that flare up. I should take it regularly, but I don’t. It usually takes a week and a half to two weeks to help make them go away. These are capsule form, vs tablets. The capsules are definitely easier to swallow and they don’t have a weird taste.

Really great and effective. My serum protein was low as a vegetarian and this helped me raise it 0.3 within a month ! Only warning is that the pill is a bit big and hard to swallow.. chocked a few times lol

Repeat customer. I purchase this for my eye collagen, but I have read and recommended this for radiation treatment blisters and HPV too. I have seen mouth blisters disappear within about two days when Rx meds couldn’t.
