Lovely keyboard but on/off switch a real problem.
As other reviewers have said this is a great keyboard and would love to be posting a positive review but the on/off switch was a real problem from the start. It is a slide switch, right for on and left for off however it never seems to 'lock' in the on position and from time to time slides back slightly and turning itself off which is very annoying when you are halfway through a chunk of text and hadn't realised. I have just super glued the switch in the on position which will hopefully solve the problem but I don't really think you should be needing to do this!

The Keyboard Every Mac Owner Should Truly Have.
I am an Apple Fan who has tried all of the Apple keyboards & had settled on the Apple wireless keyboard as the best compromise to date. I fitted my mother`s office out with the same, but she complained that it couldn`t keep pace with her typing skills (ex secretary) & also the lack of a numeric pad. I ordered her this Logitech to try and problem solved !! She was so so enthused I ordered one myself & wow !! It is an absolute joy to type on, the number pad is there, it is beautifully constructed, wireless and the black/aluminium finish compliments the iMac in a way that puts Apple`s home grown solutions to shame!! Apple rarely outsource there products but they really should adopt this keyboard and put an Apple logo on it to achieve Apple heaven for all.

logitech dinovo keyboard mac edition
This great keyboard is actually better than described in the already laudatory description on the logitech website. Need a wireless keyboard that not only looks great, but also feels incredibly smooth and comfortable and that reacts fast and precise at once? Buy this one. Recommend cubed.

Great Product if you need a new Mac Keyboard
I recently moved from a windows system to a new macbook Pro, and somewhat frustrated at the lack of consistency between the windows keyboard and the mac keyboard, decided that a mac keyboard would make it a lot easier to learn all the new keyboard shortcuts and so on. My Old keyboard was also made by Logitech, but cannot be described as anything other than a bog standard logitech keyboard. Safe to say, it's a massive improvement: First of all, Typing, unsurprisingly the most important feature: My opinion is that this is a really easy keyboard to type on, its minimal effort, and you really feel like your hitting a key. Logitech massively sell their 'PerfectStroke' Branding - and, I've got to hand it to them, it's a winner, and a massive improvement even compared to my old logitech keyboard (I guess the best way to describe the difference is that it maintains the really nice 'tactile' feel, but the key's don't travel nearly as far, so typing's less effort and faster) Keys: bottom row from left to right is (ctrl, alt, cmd, space, cmd, alt, ctrl). It moves the 'fn' key to just the right hand side of the backspace button - above the delete key, and adds page up, page down, and two key's which, in word anyway - skip to the start and end of any line. It's also got lots of shiny function keys(19) - all of which are easily configurable: By Default - F1-F12 are set the same as my macbook pro (With F5+F6 left out - they control keyboard brightness on the mac) Here are the default for some of them so you have an idea: F13 - Flow view F14 - Quick Look F15 - Spaces F16 - Itunes F17 - Apple Mail F18 - Safari (Mine's set to Firefox) F19 - Calculator It's pretty damn expensive for what it is, but at the end of the day, it's a really well designed, wireless keyboard that feels sturdy, is nice to type in, and has all the right buttons. So, if you've got a new mac and don't have a keyboard then it's an easy recommendation for me to make. As an upgrade for someone using, for instance an Apple keyboard? Probably not worth the money.
