not made very well
After putting in the batteries I found that the on/off switch did not work. It just goes around without clicking on or off, so if you want to turn it off, you need to remove the batteries, which were not very easy to put in. I got this for a .177 (pellet gun). I had to remove the sound supressor (which was not difficult to remove once I saw a video on youtube explaining how to remove it. The .177 attachment was not made very well, but seems to have held snuggly enough to make an adjustment. I'll test it tomorrow.

BOTTOM LINE: Get it!
TRUE REVIEW: Uncompensated and actual user.At $16.16, and assuming you get the same quality as what I got, it's a steal! Just look around and see how expensive this thing is. I tested this thing by rolling it on a leveled flat surface and watched the laser draw a straight even line across a far away wall - no wobbly up/down movement - it's consistent! I'm sure you could buy a more expensive, higher quality, bore sight that is much better. But think about it. All you need is one that will get you "on paper" or close enough to the bulls eye, from there, you zero your gun. After all, once zeroed, you typically won't use this tool for a long time again. Please let me know if this review was helpful.BOTTOM LINE: Get it!

Sighting Savior
I've purchased the "bullet type" bore sighters for all of my guns and this one works the best! The other types you insert directly into the chambers but they don't fit all of the way causing your sighting to be off, this particular one fits directly into the front of the barrel with the specific adapter for whichever gun you are sighting and achieves the the same objective but better. Also if you own a lever action rifle, it is very hard trying to sight it with the bullet type opposed to this type.

No issue
So I had my doubts about a cheap bore sight. I put off buying one for years but finally broke down and got this one.Took me about 5 minutes to get everything set up and the scope zeroed on the laser at roughly 50 yards. Later that day, I took my laser zeroed 30-06 out and fired one round into a 3 inch target from exactly 50 yards and hit about 2 centimeters left of center from a kneeling position while holding the rifle free handed. Second shot was about the same. I am confident that if I had used a bipod or lead sled those shots would've been dead center.5/5 recommend this laser on a budget. My dad's $75 bore laser gave the exact same results on his .308.

fine tune & calibrate
this is a winner- if you do not want to waste ammo and time manually calibrating your rifle and scope, use this wonderful item. use the right caliber fitting and stick it in the end of the barrel of the rifle- turn on the laser aim at a wall and then adjust the scope- it really works well and you don't have to shoot anything. I finely tuned several rifles and my accuracy went up 100 percent. I also verified and tested it against a rifle that was perfectly sighted and the laser was spot on. A must tool if you want to shoot at what you aim at. I wished that I had bought this sooner.
