Have used this a couple times since purchasing it. I had some struggle getting it to extend out, but once I did, it worked good. It extends pretty far out and fits what I will be using it for. One thing to note is that you have to really tighten down the knob or sometimes the camera will fall, but other then that its good. Nice strong construction and nice grip.

Got this fort GoPro to do some hiking around Mount Washington. Works great for the GoPro and the head on it can swivel and lock in just about any direction you need to make it pretty versatile. The extensions come out pretty easily and lock just but turning the shafts until they get snug. Only dislike is that the handle smells funny since its rubber, but I imagine that will wear off as I use it more.

I've been using this monopod for over two years now - mostly snowboarding through trees and powder and backcountry. I've also taken it snorkeling and camping/hiking/road-tripping. It's held up really well, unlike all the others I've tried and broken previously. It is intuitive and easy to deploy when you're on the move and the parts are easy to operate with gloves on. Lastly, the parts don't loosen or shift in the middle of use.

This stick is quality constructed and holds up well to use in the ocean. The pole has good locks. Even jumping into the water with the stick did not move the camera. I hear stories of other poles where cameras fall off while scuba diving....This stick is much more dependable.

Works as described. Target and Walmart sell an exact monopod for around 45 dollars USD. Have not got it wet yet but cheap enough to buy two, one for the water and land. As plus it comes with a GOPRO tripod mount. (score)

Pretty sturdy construction, definitely more so than a lot of the other options in this price range. Only downside is that the threads on the bottom of the stick are not very good, plastic material.

Very good for the price, and the orange color makes it easy to locate when dropped in the woods, snow, etc.!

I love this Selfie Stick for my GoPro. Great buy compared to GoPro's $79.99 unit. This is fraction of the cost for the double the performance and amazingly engineered.
