I planted as directed and it never grew. Very disappointing and a complete waste of money.

Hoping the old gardening adage is true. First year sleeping, second year leaping, third year leaping.Expensive for nothing. What to do but wait and hope

It take a long time to see it grows flower. I’m still waiting

Again faced with the difficult question of what to do for a friend as a thank you for recent favors. The kind of favor and friendship that much more than saying thank you would likely cause embarrassment but it was important enough to make a gesture. My friend loves peonies (who doesn't) but is just beginning to cultivate and plant her new family home. She was moved to have a preference remembered and made less anxious about the work ahead by having the "Walter Faxon Peony - Pink Double Peony Bare Root 3-5 Eyes" wrapped in paper and tucked away for October planting. And I'm happy to have made my friend smile.

For those like me that love the peonies this root was a big one and in perfect condition!
