You have to say "talk to Aladdin connect" then Aladdin connect will come on and say "Hi I'm Aladdin connect. You can say things like 'open door' or 'close door.' What would you like to say?" I find it easier just to use the Aladdin connect app to open or close my garage door and check the history vs the the voice command **Q: can door be opened if power fails ?** A: You can disconnect the door from the track and pull it open with the rope. My unit does NOT have a battery backup! If there is a battery backup that will operate the motor 50 times, there's no way it would fit in the lift unit I have. **Q: is it z-wave compatible?** A: Wifi **Q: When installing the garage door opener, does it connect to an outlet or is it hardwired?** A: It connects to an outlet ## Frequently Bought Together - Genie QuietLift Connect – WiFi Smart Garage Door Opener with Added Wireless Keypad, ¾ HPC Smart Belt Drive – Compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, Model 3053-TKV - Genie GEN39026R Garage Door Opener Extension Kit for 5-Piece Belt-Drive Tube Rails, one size, Metallic - Genie GLEDB2-R2 2 Pack Garage Door Opener LED LIGHT BULB, 4000K,White --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/103325275-quietlift-connect-wifi-smart-garage-door-opener-with-added-wireless](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/103325275-quietlift-connect-wifi-smart-garage-door-opener-with-added-wireless) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-11-02*
