Eden Twig Tea, Tea Bags, Kukicha, Organic 1.12 oz Boxes

Don't be fooled or scared off by the name, roasted twig tea. This is an extremely popular beverage in Asia, for a reason. It's a nice mild flavor with little to no caffeine and can be drunk hot or cold. These bags make a nice strong cup of tea and are very reasonably priced for such high quality. Unique burnt flavor. This has 90% LESS CAFFEINE than normal green tea so this is what I drink if I'm drinking it at night. To me it tastes a lot like Hoji-cha (roasted green tea) from Yamamotoyama (you can click my name above to see the reviews I have for their great products). The packaging of the tea bags is paper. For the price I was hoping for aluminum or sealed plastic but paper is fine.

I'm a fan of teas and this is my favorite right now. I'm surprised to like it more than pu'erh. It's perfectly smooth and balanced. Not acidic, not too nutty or otherwise overpowering. Just right and is good anytime day or evening. I got it for the reduced caffeine (compared to regular tea) and didn't expect to like it so much.

I drink this tea almost daily. i totally enjoy the flavor and also knowing the excellent health benefits of this tea. Also good to know that the caffeine level is very low.

I use this tea prior to my OTF workouts and I noticed a difference in my performance!

This is my favorite brand of my favorite tea. I get it all the time, but I usually buy locally. When the local stores were out, I checked amazon. This cost several dollars more per box than I usually spend, but I really wanted it, so I went ahead and purchased. But I'll focus on stocking up locally in the future.

The seller did not disclose or show photo of side of box which has a WARNING printed on a sticker stating, “ Consuming this product can expose you to lead, which is known to the state of California to cause birth defects or reproductive harm.” Amazon will not allow a return since it’s a food item. I would like to give negative stars but in order to post I must give a star.

This is definitely an "earthy" tea. It was recommended to me years ago to settle a queasy stomach and it really works. In fact, when I was sick with Covid I had trouble eating or drinking anything, but this tea was one of the few things I could handle. I took one star off the rating because my box was pretty crushed when I received it, which didn't affect the tea bags, but would've been awful if I were giving the tea as a gift.
