more unscientific nonsense and rehashings
Although this book is well written and nicely illustrated and designed, it is just another in a line of UFO books that treat fantasy as reality and take great liberties with science and logic. This author draws upon the theories and stories of such authors as George Adamski, David Icke, Zecharia Sitchin, "Branton," and pre-Nazi occult groups (to name just a few) who have not passed the test of believability after many years of scrutiny. I have no problem with anyone proposing "theories" about aliens influencing the human race in the past or present. BUT, these authors must be held to the same standards of criticism that any scientific author is--namely, one's theory must have facts, or reasonable interpretations to back them up. And most of the authors that Kasten draws upon have never been able to back up their theories with facts or reasonable interpretations. (I am not referring here to the UFO researchers who have examined evidence and interviewed witnesses for specific UFO incidents. Rather, I am referring to those authors, such as Robert Bauval and others, who have offered "theories" to demonstrate the connection between aliens and humanity--a worthwhile endeavor, as long as it is done in a "believable" manner).I am always annnoyed with UFO writers who accept the existence of aliens coming from star systems such as Sirius (spectrum A1, V), Aldebaran (K5, III), Alpha Draconis (A0, III), Betelgeuse (M2, I), Rigel (B8, I), and the Pleiades (about 400 LY away and only about .1 billion years old), even though serious astronomers consider these star systems and star clusters as very poor (improbable, actually) candidates for having planets and advanced life forms present in them. At one point, Kasten refers to Alpha Draconis as a "constellation," rather than as a star (p. 219), which demonstrates a poor understanding of astronomy. I have seen similar blunders on many Internet sites devoted to UFO's and aliens.Kasten also makes statements (or accepts the statements of others) that show a lack of familiarity with geography. In discussing the Roswell crash and other New Mexican crashes, he sometimes offers distances that are very inaccurate, by a good 50-100 miles. Maybe some people would find this unimportant, but it shows me that Kasten never took the trouble to look at a map when examining those New Mexican crashes. For example, the cameraman who attended and reported on the May 31, 1947 crash stated that the crash site was about 8 miles SW of Socorro, whereas Kasten states that this crash occured "somewhere southwest of Socorro in the Plains of San Agustin, possibly as far west as Elk Mountain." (p. 71). If you look at a map of New Mexico, you can see that Elk Mountain is about 75 miles from Socorro, and that the Plains of San Agustin are at least 30 miles west of Socorro. In general, this book contains nothing ORIGINAL. The author simply presents ideas and theories from other authors, without challenging the weaknesses or errors found in those other sources. Thus, this book is just another rehashing of other people's material, and I have already read most of the original books from which he has drawn material. To me, that does not make for a good UFO book!P.S. the supposed photo on page 83 entitled "Astronaut Habitat on Serpo?" was explained to me as a hoax by the person who made it, using PhotoShop. He was actually surprised that I believed it was real! The building in this photo is the exterior (back) of the San Francisco de Asis Mission Church in Ranchos de Taos, New Mexico. You can find pictures of this church online.

Normalcy Bias
If one takes the time to read a little world history and contemplate world archeology there is simply too much evidence that we share our planet with an even larger galactic neighborhood. As pointed out in Graham Hancock's "Fingerprints of The Gods" the evidence is overwhelming. In a world where most people think denial is a river in Egypt, one has only to take the time to explore the annals of the great religions of the world to realize that despite the fighting for centuries over who is right, they are all pointing to the same thing that is summed up in the pattern of our ancient archeology. In our psyche , it is called normalcy bias where non thinkers are too afraid to step outside their brainwashed ideologies to accept the fact that the universe is full of life and "they" have been here before, and for all we know, may be here now. According to most religious books, "Man was created in the image of God" which, if taken another step further means that God is in us which means that they (undefined at this point) are in us. We are part of the whole picture but due to our fears, mainly due to controlled conditioning that supports a warm fuzzy feel good comfort level most of us are unable to step back and look at the evidence so we can see the whole picture. Here again, the number of review stars indicate the number of people who simply do not want to subject their minds to thinking outside their preconditioned comfort boxes. Just imagine what the American Indians must have thought when the first explores came to our country that was once their country!!!! Humm, think about that one for a minute and our yet to be officially recognized galactic neighbors showing up on our doorstep one day.

Government coverups and advanced technology
Len Kasten did an exemplary job of putting this Extraterrestrial information together for his readers. His research in putting this material together is extensive and thorough. If you are at all interested in whether or not you have been lied to by government, military, and major media, ever since Roswell, you will find this book informative. Mr. Kasten has put the pieces together for you. He makes it plain that we have not only been lied to, but we have been cheated out of our heritage. The technology that should be ours today, but isn't. If you are curious about the truth of what really goes on in this world of ours, and who's hiding that truth from you, then you will like, and appreciate this book. I consider it money well spent.

Great book for those not well read or new to Ufo's and ET's
I really enjoyed this book, the author covers many many topics from past and present within the subject matter. Over all he is a good writer which keeps you entertained and doesn't linger to long on any one occurence. Though if you are a person who is well read in this topic, I would think most of whats covered in this book you have probably read or researched before. But Overall really enjoyed the book!

Secrets revealed!
This book covers a lot of info, much of which is in summarized form and short chapters but a great starting place with lots of interesting details on both older and newer cases.Exopolitics is covered, which not many books talk about to my knowlege although michael Salla does have at least one book and many articles on this subject.I'm still finishing this book(been busy)but it will probably blow your mind unless you have already been exposed to the ideas presented, such as in the chapter on Steven Greer and the Disclosure Project etc.

Fantastic read, and a Bible of reference material
The subject matter that keeps on giving and demonstrates the current lived reality is a total fake nonsense.Fantastic Bible of reference material included within the pages of this book.

Many inaccuracies
I'm disappointed with this book. The author has seemingly collated a number of sources and accepted all as fact.Having read most of the source material previously, there's not much in the book which is new. If you're going to quote other sources as the basis of your assertions, surely you should validate their accuracy? An example being Mount Hermon, which is nowhere near the coordinates Flynn claims! I get the feeling this author is probably commercially driven than a true investigator.
