No, it will not. It fits a Tetra filter for a 60 gallon tank.

Tetra whisper 70 will this fit

Absolutely no. This 70 model has an impeller and motor in the tank on the pickup tube. Looks like flat Bio balls inside at final stage. I can't quite tell if there is a surface skimmer above the motor. Looks like you will be unplugging it to do a 50 percent water change ,or it will run dry. Looks like a stand alone filter. No part swapping. Maybe a prefilter sponge in place of strainer. I'd have to buy one to see what works. Ain't going to happen anytime soon . I only looked at detail photos. It looks nice . Has everything. But you're buying the filter cartridge. I did that for years. In bulk. Happy fishkeeping.
