My dog enjoyed them
Our dog has loved any of the Dingo branded dog treats that we’ve gotten her. At this point, I pretty much just grab whatever is offering the most value when we’re in need of treats.I like to keep a couple different varieties on hand, because 30 or 50 chews of the same variety tend to get a little boring for her. For this particular option, you get quite a few less treats than some of their other options. However, there is a little more substance to these treats than some of there other options. They also aren’t consumed quite as quickly. When considering Dingo treats, I would definitely look for options with a resealable bag, as they tend to stay fresh a lot longer if the bag is sealed up (obviously!)Overall, I’d recommend these to other dog owners. As I would with pretty much all Dingo branded treats. They’re quality, affordable treats. And dogs love them!*******************************I rely heavily on reviews when I make purchases so I put some time into reviewing everything I buy on Amazon for personal or business use so I can help other people considering that item. My pooch loves these...but why did the price DOUBLE?!
I have been ordering these for a very LONG time. My chiweenie "Ziggy" looks forward to one of these as he winds down for the night! Even though he looks forward to them, he doesn't ever finish it...it starts unrolling and expanding so I have a ton of unfinshed bones but oh well. I really wish they were able to stay rolled up better. I was going to order more and just saw that the price has changed from $2.99 to almost DOUBLE!!! That is ridiculous! I will stop buying them to find another bone for him. Being a loyal long time customer seems to be irrelevant to these suppliers when the price doubles!! It always seems to come down to the might buck. Maybe if they see people are not going to purchase anymore of these because of the price increase they might go back down. Very disappointed that I have to change treats now...

Best rawhide chew
I have a large Golden Retriever who loves to chew. Rawhide chews are great for dogs because it takes quite a lot of chewing to finish them. But they can also be dangerous because the rawhide gets soft and slippery. If the dog bites off a large chunk it can get caught in the throat and is almost impossible to retrieve. The directions always say to monitor the dog while they are chewing rawhide. Another thing to consider when choosing a rawhide treat is the calories. Dogs eat rawhide and too much of it will pile on the pounds. Dingo makes the best rawhide toys, and they come in a variety of sizes and shapes. The larger ones, particularly the ones shaped in a knot, are dangerous for my dog because the pieces she breaks off are too large and sometimes get caught in her throat. But these sticks are perfect. After a couple of really serious bites the red flavor strip in the center starts to fall out and that occupies her for quite a while. When that's gone she returns to the rawhide. They are large enough to keep her happy but small enough so that she can have a couple of these each week without compromising her diet. I think Dingo may rate them for smaller dogs, but they work well for my Golden. The only problem is availability. My local pet stores have stopped carrying this size, for some reason, so I had to buy through Amazon.

My dog loves them!
My dog loves these things. They are getting harder to find. I have had some problems getting "old" product that has either expired or nearing expiration from some vendors that offer them at discounts. I am glad to see that Amazon is carrying them directly now!EDIT Sept 2012 -- While the product is still great, Amazon is ripping people off with this product and has it priced significantly higher than even the manufacturer is selling it for. This product used to be significantly lower in price and was packaged in (3) 3-packs here. Currently amazon is selling the product 1 package at a time for 7.15. The manufacturers retail price on their website is only 5.49 so you are paying over $1.66 extra (30% more than the manufacturer charges) to buy this on amazon than to buy it from the manufacturer (and it can be had for much less than 5.49 from other vendors on the internet).Frankly I am shocked. I have brought this up to two customer service people and they seem to insist that there is nothing wrong with the pricing. I used to trust when I shopped amazon that I was getting a good price, but this experience has taught me a lesson that I can't blindly assume I am getting a good deal on amazon any longer.

My dog loves these... but is this three total or nine total?
First, my dog LOVES these Dingo bones. He won't touch any other kind of bone, but these are a special treat. He's very finicky, so I'm thrilled to find something he enjoys so much. Plus, since these don't have the knots at the end, I'm able to give them to him and feel confident that there won't be any gastrointestinal issues later. (My sister had a poor dog that swallowed the knotted end of a bone and had to have a surgery to remove the blockage.)But this particular Amazon item... is it for three packages of three bones? One would have to imagine, since it's over $10... but assuming it's so doesn't MAKE it so. It says it's a three-pack, but there are three bones per package, so it doesn't necessarily mean there are three packages. One package of three generally goes for $5.99 at PetSmart, so I can't imagine Amazon selling it for $10.80, but stranger things have happened. Anyone have any idea how I could find out for sure before I order?

Dingo Stix
Hi,I purchase these Dingo bones alot because I have 3 dogs that love them. The one problem with them is the red inside part of the chew bone is a bit messy.I have to go around and clean where they eat their bones. They are happy to get one so I just have to clean up.They are worth the money but I wish all animal items would be cheaper than they are because it can be very costly.I love my animals and will always buy them something because they are my dear friends and they are worth it.An animal Lover

Good for little dogs
My dog loves Dingo products. Even after the flavour strips are gone these bones are perfect to play fetch with for a long time.
