Great basic information, excellent project examples which include step by step instructions with photos. The book also includes maintenance suggestions and where to purchase ideas.

Basic info. Disappointed in lack of thoroughness. Many plant photos are erroneously labeled. A fern is pictured and labeled an African violet. Poor quality.Don’t waste your money.

This book provides a great INTRODUCTION to creating and maintaining a terrarium. There are a lot of great pictures providing the details you're looking for while trying your hand at making your own. Although the examples and instructions often detail smaller terrariums, the methods and fundamental principles are just as applicable to larger creations, like using an old 30 gallon fish tank as the vessel.

This book was well written. It contained lots of detailed information as well as lists of items for each project. I found it very useful and it will likely be one of the books that I keep and reference for a long time!

Like that it has a lot of seasonal ideas. It was a gift to work on with family.

I have purchased one other book on building terrariums. Although both authors are very good at building these self watering environments, this particular author is the best at making the instructions easy to follow. I'm glad I didn't give up after the first book I purchased.

Christmas gift. Was not what I expected. Was looking for a book on how to grow Terrariums. This book did not have much information.

This beautifully illustrated book has clear step by step instructions and ideas for creating many different types of terrarium projects. If you are looking for an all inclusive book about creating terrariums, I highly recommend this book!
