Cool looking, but not great overall
The Slingshot Beyblades have some cool performance tips, and this is the coolest in the gimmick realm. The energy layer is cool too, but as for its ability to battle within stadiums it flops.Pros - The performance tip has 4 different ways that it can be used. Two attack modes and two defense modes. The idea of having the point off-center is really cool. The energy layer has the neat ability to shift from having 5 points (attack mode) to 10 (defense because it makes it more round) and is again, really different because not many Beys can do that. As a counterclockwise rotating Bey it is cool as well because they are harder to find.Cons - The performance tip is a cool gimmick and nothing else. It jumps a little, which is neat, but when battling is not effective at all. The energy layer is neat that is can change, but the locking mechanism is not snug, and wiggles even when locked (by comparison, Twin Noctemis did not have this issue and it had a similar locking mechanism). The forge disc is a common one.Overall, if it was a normal Bey, I would rate it a 3. The uniqueness of this Bey makes me rate it higher because it is so different, and for its coolness I rate it a 5. Between its design and actual ability I rate it a 4. I would not use it when competing, and my son didn't really like it - in fact, he traded it to his brother, who didn't want it after a while either. I really like the design and nothing else.

From a 7 year old expert
So. . I have zero clue about any of this. My 7 year old son is an absolute expert. And this is definitely one of his favorite beyblades. He goes over them with a fine tooth comb to make sure they are not fake. And says this is a good one

Try the L side!
At first we hated this thing. Then we realized that it was “backwards” and we needed to use the launcher on the L side. Now it crushes the competition.

Buyer beware
Was exactly what he asked for, isn t for a lot of use. Broke after a week. Ended up with a sad little boy.
