Absolutely love this stein
I bought this for my fiancé for Valentine's Day. He loves collecting beer steins but had lost all but one from his collection. The smile on his face when he opened this gift let me know it was perfect. I actually bought two right in a row because the first one fell and broke before I could give it to him. But seeing it in person, I knew he would love. So I immediately ordered a replacement. Shipping BOTH times was incredibly timely. Thank you for making a beautiful product!

It's a beautiful mug. Holds a can of soda, some ice and a bit of "adult beverage" added in. Sadly, if you look at the design of the handle it's very smooth. After a bit the lid starts sliding back along the handle. I don't think this is avoidable with this style of handle. If you love the volume of drink, and the castle design, or if you just want to display it, I recommend this. Otherwise I might look for one with a different handle design.

Everything was as described. This beautiful Stein is a birthday gift for my son. He will be thrilled!

Beautiful object but should have far more padded interior wrapping to preclude breakage.
Its stunning design and color along with the pewter and ceramic contrasts are eye catching. While recognizing that the interior box had at least some bubble-type wrapping to protect this breakable object, nonetheless, based on an unhappy outcome w/ another stein through lack of care in shipping, I recommend that the manufacturer and shipper-agent double-bubble-wrap this and any other ceramics objects. I think I'm lucky that this one arrived in one piece!

Love it
This is amazing. I gave it to my mom for Christmas she used to live in Germany and she saw this same one there and has always wanted it and when I gave it to her she loved it she did it is beautiful and is exactly what she wanted.

Made in China!
How convenient that the true origin of this "stein" is NOT mentioned in the description. It is of a cheapo -less than .5 liter size, and because its made in china, I wouldn't be very sure it is free from some toxins. If you want to cheap out to get a pretend stein don't. Buy a real one from an Internet auction site for a fraction of what a fake decorative stein from china costs new.

I bought this for a gift and it is very nice. I cannot give it 5 stars as It has not really been used. It seems high quality and it is good looking.
