I stumbled upon this item looking for something to fit my Python water change system. I had purchased an adapter from Python for my aerator size but it made the T pump too long and it would no longer fit the depth of my sink. I was very discouraged and wasn't sure what I was going to do to get my water changes done. This piece fits perfectly in my 13/16 ~27 aerator and the other end fits the Python perfectly. It has a low profile and fits the sink as well. This piece is an absolute life saver!!!! And so is the person who did the first review I found that led me to purchase. If you need a low profile adapter for your Python and have the 13/16 ~27 dimensions like I do, purchase this now! :)

It only protrudes 3/8 of an inch up into the faucet, which wasn't enough to catch the female threads on my Kholer faucet, so it is not usable.

This review is about the Danco 10522 Hose Adapter, Male Garden Female Faucet Aerator. The good news is that it is well made and the finish is great. I bought this hoping that it will allow me to fit a garden hose onto the PUR faucet mount filter. The PUR comes with 4 adapters, but none of the 4 have the thread size that this adapter has, i.e. 13/16 -27. It is partially my fault because I had no idea that it would not fit any of the 4 adapters included with the PUR. I should have bought the Danco, Inc. 10511 Washing Machine Adapter, 3/4" GHTF X 55/64"-27M, Chrome, sold right here at Amazon instead. The PUR filter has a chrome colored adapter that has a 55/64 inch -27 female thread, so the Danco 10511 will fit right into the PUR and the other end of the 10511 adapter can accept a standard 3/4" garden hose. Luckily, by shopping around, I found that adapters that are the same size as the Danco10511 can be found at my local hardware store. It is one made by Neoperl, and it is also sold here in Amazon. The difference between the Danco 10522 and 10511 is slight, but to my dismay, what I thought was a 13/16 thread on the PUR adapter is actually a 55/64 thread. I need a good caliper!

Fits perfectly on my bathroom sinks and the hose. I tested out the size by going to a Home Depot, but they don't carry these at Home Depot or Lowes. Luckily I found this one online. It doesn't leak at all. The one downside is that the amount of metal exposed between the sink and the hose is little thin, so when you take it off the sink, you may need a pair of pliers to remove it. That's a minor gripe though.

Simple tech, does exactly what it says.Should come with a few extra rubber washers because the garden hose female won't fully tighten when this is attached to faucet. (too shallow)Would also be nice if it accommodated the aerator from faucet at the same time as you have hose attached. (It has female threads for aerator, but you can't attach hose at same time due to clearance depth).We use this to get HOT and COLD water to nearby tub, whose anti-scald valve means tepid water, never hot or cold.Solid metal, should last forever.

I gave this product two stars because, in fairness, I did not measure my tap (was not at home) when I bought it; the description stated that it fits 'standard' taps. I have purchased many other products which advertised the same with no issue. The smaller end of this adapter is considerably smaller than a standard tap size, which means that it is essentially useless for the purpose for which it is advertised.
